What a beautifully kept park, a real credit to NZMCA and those involved in its upkeep. A real find within walking distance to the gem that is Waimate, with its outdoor pursuits, history and foodie heaven. Kudos to the wonderful butchery at the ford 2 mins walk further up the road, the Waimate Kitchen & Bar and Bakery adjacent to it. Now we have discovered this great park we will be back. Not forgetting the wallabies ;) Thanks NZMCA

Great park ! Well kept grounds and lovely setting. The farmshop and butchery just 200 mtrs up the road. Meat patties and homemade sausages just perfect on the bbq. Also sells cheeses. Super tasty ! A credit to nzmca for this park. Nice and quiet.
