Waiomu Beach Cafe
Great Lamb burger, flounder and mushrooms dish. But most importantly the coffee is good. Tried the flat white as usual. Sorry I took photo of it after I started drinking it.

Waiomu Beach Cafe
I bought an orange babycake and a sticky bun today and OH MY! The fluffiness of the babycake was phenomenal, perfectly light yet not too holey, perfectly dense yet not too heavy. The buttercream was delicious, an exquisite complexion of sweetness to butter accompanying the cake beautifully. The butter ensuring the sweet is wasn't too overpowering.The sticky bun was a first for me. I thought it was going to be way too sweet. I was wrong. The bread dough was superlatively well risen. Bitting into it felt like taking a chunk out of a goose down pillow, elegantly soft yet enough there to chew. The sticky drizzle had crystals shining into my eye. I couldn't resist the temptation.I recommend a latte or flat white as a superb ally to these dishes. A must to be eaten on the mosaic table out front on the deck. A brilliant experience and a flawless break along the Pacific Coast Highway.

Waiomu Beach Cafe
Beautiful cafe all is hand made, the pie with lamb is so yummy. Cappuccino very good. Nice tables for sitting, bad weather, no worries, you can sit inside. Very friendly staff. Good place for a rest. E Power Station.

Waiomu Beach Cafe
The Waiomu Beach Café is really great. The service is very friendly and helpful. After a short time we get our food very warm and fresh. Our pizza and soup was delicious. The design of the Waiomu Beach Café is simple and everything is clean. The cakes and muffins looks awesome and yummy.

Waiomu Beach Cafe
Have stopped here a few times on trips around Coromandel but no more. After entering the cafe we were looking at the beverage board. Two staff did not acknowledge our presence. A voice behind us said I need to get through there ". No excuse me. It was kitchen staff trying to access the kitchen.Three times we asked for iced coffees and menus. We were told that we could not take the coffees outside until we paid for them. The person who needed 'to get through there ' told us that if we were also going to eat we should order everything at once as it makes it easier for them. Then the EFTPOS machine would not accept a card. ( 4 attempts). Paywave may have worked but that would incur an extra charge. We left.It doesn't matter how good you think your coffee and food are if your manners suck.May I suggest a course on customer relations.A bit of a downer on our day."

Delightful seaside cafe with baked food, full menu and delicious coffee. Also licensed.Ordered:Decaf Iced Coffee with soyVege stackVery yum breakfast! So peaceful sitting outside with the beach only across the road and park.
