Banking Ombudsman Scheme
I was stranded in India and Nepal unable to access ATM funds. Short version I contacted the ombudsman online and got so frustrated at constantly being timed out while the agent looked up my file. I will wait until I return to New Zealand next year to try and get some sensible solutions.

We owe them especially Kate our deepest gratitude for her understanding,compassion and for achieving a resolution from Kiwibank after they bungled our home loan top up payments and terms. Even though they admitted it was their mistakes, they were only prepared to rectify it at our expense, boy did Kiwibank jump after the banking ombudsman contacted them and from there Kiwibank changed their tune, This should not have had to go this far, many thanks
