Car was an economy car, but clean, tidy and reliable.Customer service is excellent. Very friendly, helpful owner Sue/Sarah??Went above and beyond to extend our booking another night last minute due to us getting bumped from our flight. Would recommend.

Ten stars out of five. I mostly hate dealing with rental car agents in the US. So I would have never imagined I would write a five star review on a car rental company, but this place is amazing. We needed pickup in Nelson, farther than the airport, and we got picked up in our rental car right on time by Sarah. The car was in great condition, the service outstanding, and the price unbeatable. It even included three authorized drivers. We took the car all the way to Milford Sound and back, and had a great time. When our return flight was delayed due to weather, we were able to extend the car over the phone for the same amazing price. I doubt you'll find a better place in Nelson, and maybe in the whole South Island. It's a small local agency, but it runs like clockwork. I wish all rental agencies worked a little more like this amazing gem of a place.Thanks again Sarah and the team!

Pegasus Car Rentals in Nelson and Auckland had our backs when our Bluebridge Ferry reservation was cancelled at the last minute. The Auckland office allowed us to drop their car in Nelson so we could fly back to Auckland.Sarah, the owner of the Nelson office, gave us VIP treatment from the moment we pulled onto the lot. She extended us every courtesy and even drove us to the airport so we didn't have to hire an Uber. She takes a lot of pride in offering customers the best value and service in NZ. The rates at Pegasus were lower than all the competition. Great place to hire a car in Nelson! We had a family celebration and three cars were needed for us all. Sarah at Pegasus was just so efficient and helpful. She went above and beyond for my daughter, as her flight was delayed, arriving around 9.15pm. Sarah left the car in the airport car park for her, which saved a lot of time.I've decided that whenever I visit Nelson, from now on, I'll fly there and rent a car from Sarah. Much easier than driving all the way from Dunedin!

I hired a Wingroad for several months, the car was very clean and had a new stereo. Sarah was very responsive, kindly picked us up at the airport in the car and delivered excellent service. When a problem arose, she put it right immediately. Highly recommended, thank you Sarah!
