I had am amazing experience with elite appliances the service was quick and they were so lovely with such friendly staff, when I rang to book they took the time to listen to me and made sure they could come over urgently they made the process so easy. When the repair man came to sort out my washing machine, dishwasher, oven and hob he was friendly introduced himself nicely and made me feel very comfortable. I felt very well looked after and will recommend to everyone I see. Best service i have had in a long time! Thank you Elite Appliance Servicing

We had this company come out twice to fix a problem with our oven. On both occasions the guy turned up late, didn’t appear to know what he was doing, nor did he seem motivated to find a resolution for us. The receptionist, who my wife had to chase up several times, and the guy kept reverting back to the fact we didn’t want to spend much money. Which we didn’t, as the guy was using a trial and error technique to figure out our problem and we didn’t want to keep throwing money at the oven, when he wasn’t listening to the actual problem. We definitely would NOT recommend this company, I would give 0 stars if I could.

Had a problem with my washing machine smelling. Contacted Elite Appliances. Their office lady was fantastic, she knew exactly what I was talking about. Their Technicians turned up on time. Listened to my queries and gave me tips how to care for my front loading machine. Extremely knowledgeable. Great customer service and very friendly team. Highly recommended.

I used Elite Appliance Servicing when my washing machine broke. I rang Elite and the lady on the phone was very professional and very helpful. I was able to book in to get my washing machine fixed had a quick turn around time! And now have a working washing machine again thanks Elite! Will definitely be using your services again and will be recommending you to anyone! :)

elite/eɪˈliːt,ɪˈliːt/noun1.a select group that is superior in terms of ability or qualities to the rest of a group or society.Using the word Elite to describe your company is a risky thing to do, especially when it isn't backed up with reality.I have endured the worst communication and service from a company in my life when dealing with Elite Appliances.Jason (the repair person and I assume the business owner) seems like he has over committed himself, and unable to put aside time to reply or communicate to customers.I made the mistake of organizing to drop off my dishwasher to Elite Appliances on the 3rd of January, in the process of unloading the dishwasher Jason managed to rip off one of the dishwasher legs when removing the machine from my car (oh well, another extra part for him to organize). It was clearly explained to Jason, twice, that I would need the dishwasher fixed and returned before the 18th January as we were moving house and it was part of the chattels included in the sale and purchase agreement.Eight days later I received a voice message from Jason explaining what was wrong and that he didn't think it was worth fixing and if it was him he would throw it away. I rung back on the same day and left a message explaining that I was willing to get it fixed and would like to know what the cost was to do this. Obviously for me it was going to be more cost effective to fix the dishwasher than buy a completely new machine. I rung again that afternoon, but again no one answered. I sent a follow up text message on the Sunday, no answer.On Monday (the week we were due to move) I rung the office, explained the situation and was told Jason would ring me back straight away....no call.On Tuesday I called the office and discussed my situation again, with another office lady and was told the same thing, Jason would call me back....no call.Wednesday, the same thing, now only 2 days before I had to move out of the property....I was getting concerned and wanted to know if the dishwasher was being repaired or not. Again, I was told Jason has been informed of my calls, but was on an urgent call out to Tuakau and he be asked to call me back, I mentioned it was rather urgent as well now! Thursday; I was extremely busy getting organised for my house move the next day, but still, I did not receive a call back from Elite Appliances or Jason.On Friday (the day we were to move out) I rung the Elite Appliances office at 8am, the same lady answered and hooray, Jason was in the office, finally I will get the good news that my dishwasher has been fixed and its ready for pick up!But no, nothing had been done, Jason went on to explain to me that he still didn't feel it was worth fixing, asking me what I thought it was going to cost to fix. I couldn't believe what I was hearing , I was expected to be told that the dishwasher had been fixed (as per my instructions) or to at least tell me how much it would be to fix, Jason hadn't even priced up the repair cost. Unfortunately, I was now in a position where I was forced into buying a brand new dishwasher at a cost of $1400 4 hours before I was due to move out.A week later I took the dishwasher to an Auckland repairer to have a look at....Within 5 hours they called me back, with a cost to repair - $352.....yes, $352 for parts and labor to complete the job and it would be completed in 7 days!!I do wonder if Jason just couldn't be bothered with my job, too busy or the job was a slightly more complex repair job in a 2 week period? Whatever the reason, do not use these guys!!!For those still considering using Elite Appliances, do so at your risk! If the repair is minor, requires Jason to travel to you (extra cost) and doesn't involve extra thinking on his behalf, then go for it!A total disappointment that has left me over $1000 out of pocket due to their incompetence!Summary: Don't waste your time with these guys, make the extra effort to bring it up to Auckland or find a more reliable local business!Would have rated zero stars if this was an option!Simon

I called Elite who came to diagnose what was wrong with my dryer for $100 or so (I can't remember the exact cost). The diagnosis was consistent with my google search - yay! The guy said he'd go away and get a quote for me so I could see whether it was worth fixing it. I received no quote or any other correspondence. A few months later I called and left a message (no one has picked up on the 3 occasions I've called, they seem to respond to voicemail though) to see what was happening, and no reply. So now I've paid a fee for a diagnosis with no ongoing action. Would not use again.

Very unprofessional repair technician who performed a poor quality of repair and made some very rude comments towards me. It was apparent from his attitude and comments throughout the job that he did not want to be there doing this work and he made me feel awkward and uncomfortable in my own home.A seal replacement for a torn, but not leaking seal was carried out incorrectly, as the drain holes didn't line up. My laundry cabinet was damaged by this person in the process, as he didn't pull the washing machine all the way out to work on it, (which is actually quite easily done). Furthermore, when he re-installed the machine, the drainage pipe kinked beneath it, meaning it couldn't drain. This built up enough pressure to pop the new seal out of place and flood the laundry when I used the machine.Elite couldn't repair it for over a week and would only send the same technician, who I do not want back due to his attitude and poor workmanship. We couldn't get another repair technician before xmas, nor a loan machine. It has resulted in Harvey Norman having to give us another machine and take the old one away, which is incredibly wasteful as it is a 2 year old machine.We have had to spend an inordinate amount of time doing extra cleaning because of the flooding, have had to drive loads of washing all over town, now have to replace parts of the cupboard due to the chips in the chipboard and spent half a day on the phone back and forward with Harvey Norman, who are now out of pocket because of this and have also wasted a considerable amount of time trying to help us resolve this.A really disappointing and entirely avoidable scenario.

We contacted Elite appliance servicing, for our Westinghouse dishwasher. It took more than two months to change a hose, that did not solve the problem. During this time we had tried to contact them but no one is picking the phone. extremely poor customer service and wrong diagnosis! not recommended at all!

We contacted Jason at Elite just over a week before Christmas to repair our oven/gas cooker, we found the entire process with Elite to be slow and our oven/gas cooker was not fully repaired until the 18th of January. Our oven/gas cooker was taken away to be repaired at the workshop, they had it nearly two weeks before it was returned and we had to spend nearly all of that time chasing Jason to find out when it would be returned having been without an oven/gas cooker for nearly 5 weeks.When it was finally returned it had a screw missing and the two front feet had been left at the workshop so we had to collect them ourselves.Jason did not keep us informed as to what was happening with regards to the repair and I am sure that if we had not chased him almost every single day for a week he would probably still have the oven/gas cooker now.Overall we found the service and communication to be of a poor standard and will not be using them again in the future.

Have been trying to get my fridge repaired since December. Jason doesn't show up to appointments, doesnt answer his phone or communicate, i have never met a business so unreliable 100% do not recommend. Today is the 5th day taken off work for another no show. Wish you could put 0 stars instead of 1.
