Head Held High

Head Held High have shown my son such encouragement and positivity over the years. He started off a very shy and apprehensive boy, and over time has built his skills up to the point that he now loves speaking in public (he actually looks forward to his school speech competitions!) and has got some quite good acting skills under his belt too. Not bad for a shy" boy. Thanks Head Held High!"

Small classes so good for individual attention. Teachers are encouraging and classes are fun.

Many thanks to the amazing teachers at Head Held High. My nine year old son's confidence and self-belief has increased so, so much during the time he has been tutored by Julian and Amy. At the completion of his first full year of lessons with Head Held High, he achieved honours in his first Speech and Drama exam. He also had the confidence to create and star in his own short film which went on to be one of the winning films in The Outlook for Someday Challenge. We were blown away by Maxwell's ability to improvise an entertaining acceptence speech at the award's night too, a reflection of the encouragement and coaching of his teachers. We are very grateful for Head Held High.

My 8 year old son has lessons through Head Held High and his speech has improved a lot. His words are much clearer and he is gaining more confidence with public speaking. I would highly recommend their classes or private lessons.

The Head Held High program offers so much more than the old school speech and drama lessons I did as a child. This modern, fun and creative approach to teaching today's young kiwis is truly fantastic. It develops confidence, manners and imagination and teaches our kids respect for self and others. I highly recommend.

My son goes to these classes once a week and gets to try out confidence building activities that he would otherwise miss out on. Run by passionate and fun people, my son loves it and has had a go at mime, improvisation, drama, poetry recital and other fun stuff. Nice one!
