Macpac Onehunga

Went to Macpac today to buy some camping gear and a staff member, Monique helped me out with some things. She was super helpful, kind and lovely. Thank you Monique.

A nice sized Macpac store in the Dress Smart mall Onehunga.The stock in here is good and nice discounts are almost always running.The staff are nice and helpful.The location is easily accessible in the mall and easy to remember too.The mall has ample car parking available on the premises which makes things easier.We have been shopping here for many years now and highly recommend this store.

Bad experience of hospitality very rude staff specially the shift manager Heena , first she was not answering any customers enquiry as she doesn't want sell anything after I bought a jacket she is not bother to say even thanks when I said thanks she didn't even say thanks or anything I find it very rude and asked her for her name for compliment she didn't tel I went to the counter and I asked for manager and gentlemen said she is manager I was shocked, that was my last purchase from Macpac I am letting know that because I am big fan of mac and I use buy lot of things from you.... Not anymore....

The lady that was there was so helpful, patient and polite (I’m so sorry I didn’t catch your name)- I explained to her what I was after and she showed me what they had available in that range- she didn’t pressure me for a sale but waited for me to make a decision which I really appreciated. Thank you.

Some discounted goods but beware they might be defective. Discovered on first wearing that the purchased T-shirt contained numerous holes. Too bad already left country so couldn’t return. Expensive waste of money.

Not really any discounts or sale items that interests me. Always seems its overpriced.

Very limited range and high range pricing compared. Pricing doesn't differ much from normal retail store at Sylvia Park.

I went in to this location about a month ago in preparation for a trip to Mt Cook. I had virtually NO camping experience, and Micah was beyond helpful, spending at least an hour going down my list of items and explaining how each one works, what to look for. and different price points. He has a lot of camping experience, and was obviously passionate about Macpac products, which I love to see in a company representative! Yes - camping gear is expensive as hell, but he gave me many options and didn't push the most expensive item if it didn't fit my needs. I left feeling confident to continue my research and ended up purchasing most of my gear from Macpac thanks to him!! Their prices are comparable to other camping stores (if not a bit cheaper) yet the quality is some of the highest I encountered. The trip was a huge success thanks to my equipment. Love Macpac!!
