Good old school bakery selling a range of cabinet food including filled rolls, sandwiches, pies, scones, and sweet treats.Cooked breakfasts and espresso coffee completes the offering.Lovely owners selling a good basic range of food. A good quick stop for a pie or a filled roll on the go. Coffee is okay if other cafe options are too busy. No fuss coffee shop. Reasonable quality food.

Do not recommend at all.. Bad Manners and Rude.. And the Mocha I ordered was basically a burnt coffee with minimal milk.. 0/10

Do not recommend!!!! Horrible customer service the minute hubby & I walked in. Was not welcomed, very blunt manner when making our order. Order was made & hubby asked whether they serve out jugs of water - was told “go over to the fridge and pay”. At this point we decided to not make waste anymore time in this place & requested a refund & reminded the lady her customer service was bad & that she was not accommodating at all. Refund made via bank transfer as she could not give cash but will now have to wait the next working day to see $. No apologies from her, nothing. Horrible experience here whilst visiting Taupo for the weekend.

Great location - within the city center of Taupo. Nice outdoor seating to enjoy the busy street and to get some sun and breeze. Most importantly good food and coffee. Go and try for yourself. Staff is quite friendly too. The premises is clean when I visited.

Small, clean and quiet cafe in Taupo. Good selection on the menu. The service was a little off as our food kinda just got dumped onto our table. Normally you'd expect a polite acknowledgement prior but hey. My breakfast was the old classic (bacon, hashys etc). A bit smaller than what I was expecting but pretty tasting and filling at the time.

Absolutely shocking place. Looking forward to a good coffee and a treat before heading home. The coffee was burnt as was the melting moment and that was probably the best of the bunch. The coffee actually burnt our mouths and was still scorching past a conversation with a passer-by. Service was shocking. Wasn't sure if the lady was talking to me or someone via her airpod. Zero positivity from her.I don't like leaving negative reviews but I feel this one was needed.Very dissatisfied.

Classic. I had high hopes based on the name but sadly it fell flat.Coffee completely forgettable. I in fact had two sips and left it.The cheese scone. A classic kiwi “ must have”with your morning tea tasted like cheese in a sweet cake like bread. Maybe that’s enticing for you, but I wanted a classic kiwi scone and this was not that.Probably better off just throwing your $20 through the door qnd going elsewhere.

Not recommended. We ordered omelet with salmon and pancake without syrup, but it served with bacon and WITH syrup. Customer service is horrible, not friendly.
