I go to Josh at Focus Physio because as a weight lifter it’s hard to find a physio that understands the mechanics of the movements that I do.Josh understands what I do, what muscles are involved and what I need to do to keep mobile and injury free.He pin points issues and resolves them quickly and I can’t recommend him enough.I travel from Wanaka to see him because he’s just that good.

Visited Alysia at Focus Physio for a lower back strain. Very thorough and had me fixed in no time, great follow-up and set me up with exercises to maintain my back and general fitness. Highly recommend. Thanks!

I've seen Alyssa for a few different injuries and have been very impressed with her knowledge and approach. They also do proper longer appointments here so you get very thorough treatment.

Josh has treated me for a number of injuries. He has always done an awesome job at identifying the injury, the cause and following it up with a variety of successful treatments. Josh provides great explanations on the injury and his treatment methods. I would highly recommend Focus Physio.

Josh and the Team at Focus Physio are fantastic. I have had to get treatment for various injuries and Josh has always been able to get to the bottom of the problem and set it right. It is such a relief when you are in pain to know that you can go to someone who can really help you and who knows what they are doing. I have sent my husband - with a dislocated shoulder, and my mother for treatment and they have both been very pleased with the results. I constantly recommend them as I feel they are the best in town. Very professional, caring & knowledgeable and will fit you in if urgent. 5/5

I have been going to Focus after another nasty rolled ankle injury (again) in late 2018.After seeing Leigh and Josh we worked through to identify the real cause answering the question ‘why does this keeps happening’ I have seen a huge change in my strength and posture which was contributing to strain, causing constant discomfort/pain and injuries to the same ankle time and time again.Josh and the team at Focus are the best Physio in town! Dedicated, professional and with simple techniques and exercises that anyone can do to help with recovery and more importantly a Focus on prevention.

I saw Josh for a disc injury for the better part of a year and I cannot recommend a better physio, he is professional, kind and tailors his treatment specifically to what is manageable for you as a client. I only stopped due to moving away otherwise I would have stayed with him as long as I could. A fantastic practice all round.

I cannot say enough good things about the team at Focus Physio. From professional and friendly greetings from the front desk through to excellent physiotherapy treatment from Josh and his team.I workout regularly and have competed in several different types of sporting events that have put my body under pressure and Josh has always been able to sort any injuries or discomfort effectively, and minimise my time out of action.Thank you so much!!!
