Waikuku Beach Holiday Park
We come here over New Years with a large group of families. Kids always like the forest and the drawcard to come for us Adults was the New Years entertainment which we were most disappointed to arrive this year to find out there was no New Years entertainment or kids entertainment. Toilet and Shower facilities were not up to usual standards, run out of toilet paper and soaps etc often. It would have been nice to know this prior. We won’t be returning.

Dog friendly camping area seperate from main camping area. Tidy clean & friendly. Only a few metres to beach. Good biking trail nearby. Ashley River close by. Family friendly.

Waikuku Beach Holiday Park
Affordable campsite close to the beach and general store. Reception lady wasn’t very friendly and the bathrooms and kitchen are a bit run down, the floor in the bathrooms are very slippery once you get out the shower due to the painted concrete and paying for hot water is a bit ridiculous, it could at least be included in the final price instead of finding out after a long day and all you want is a nice shower.The cabins are comfortable and a good size but could do with a bit of a renovation at some stage.

Seems OK. Has potential. Good for surfers. Fishing not so much so unless you have something to get out past the breakers. Will be interesting to see how the new management team goes.

Waikuku Beach Holiday Park
The new owners are making a huge effort to improve the camp ground fixing up the small things that have been neglected. The grounds were neat and tidy, kitchens and toilets were nice and clean and staff friendly and approachable. Plenty of walks including along the river stop bank and north and south on the beach. There are life guards at the Waikuku Surf Club in the summer season with flagged areas to swim if you have kids. We had a really nice stay. Cheers M

Waikuku Beach Holiday Park
Awesome location, next to the beach and a forest to explore. The playground and splash pad were great too, although the splash pad wasn't operating and thus a bit boring. Local store has some good takeaway.Some of the toilet and kitchen buildings need an upgrade. Water tasted like metal and was a little brown, so we bought drinking water.Friendly staff too.

Waikuku Beach Holiday Park
Spent two nights on an unpowered site at the end of the first week of January 2022. Great spot, facilities were clean. The campground is very sheltered from the north easterlies. Amazingly quiet considering the time of year. Struck fantastic weather and with a beautiful beach on your doorstep what more could you ask for
