I love coming here.I've had past experience of hairdressers struggling with my curly hair, but never at John St. Taylor and Casey always take such good care of me and I leave feeling a million bucks everytime. I also really appreciate that there's no pushing of expensive products (just genuine advice when you need it).I get the impression Kathy takes very good care of her staff, and it shows in the warmth of the salon. I am so happy that my friend recommended this place to me! I called on a whim to see if I could get an appointment- it was a Sunday morning and I didn't in the slightest think I would get one however I was lucky enough to get a space with the lovely Casey! I had bleach blonde hair and went in saying I wanted to have a more natural blonde and a more honey tone. Well Casey worked her magic and did an incredible job, the colour exceeded my expectations and I was so happy with what she did!! I have now booked her in advance as she will be my go to stylist! I can't wait to become part of theJohn St hair whanau! Thank you so much Casey!

very accommodating, they fit me in at the last minute, and easy to talk to for someone as awkward as me haha.

First went here after a previous hairdresser coloured my hair patchy half black and half blonde (a nightmare). Casey fixed my hair perfectly to my medium brown natural colour in just one session! Have been going here regularly ever since and always leave so happy, they suit your hair so naturally to you and take care in their work, not just getting a job done and out the way and you can really tell!

I’ve done my balayage with Zara! Highly recommended! She was extremely professional and had great hospitality! I felt welcomed all the time. She was multitasking having a busy time. Thank you very much for your wonderful job! I will come back!!

I love visiting here. The staff is so lovely and always have great recommendations on how to get the best from my hair. They also give the most relaxing hair washes.
