Had an appointment with Dr Douglas Winter as my regular doctor was unavailable. I felt Dr Winter was unfriendly and very impersonal. He was extremely focused on note taking to the exclusion of everything else. He brushed off anything I tried to add that was not a direct answer to one of his questions. The note taking took up the majority of the appointment. Though some might say that was thorough I felt like a pretend" patient in a medical school exam where the person is not really seen...only the symptoms. If you are a middle aged woman

There is no other doctor for me, signed up early 2019 and have received excellent care for an extensive and difficult injury, kind and attentive care during my pregnancy and then wonderful stress-free care of my son ❤Highly recommend.

This is literally the best medical center in NZ!!The nurse, the doctors, everyone is so caring and kind at the good medicine. they listen to you, no matter how long you are inside talking to them, they carefully listen to everything you say and feel. You can really tell they care about you and don't see you as a number.Fiona has been exceptional, since day one! when I joined the good medicine, because I had depression, she try to helped me as much as possible, with everything, even things related to work.I have seen most of the doctors at the good medicine and I can guarantee all of them are extremely kind, caring, supportive and super humans.I'm happy I came across to this medical center.If you are looking for support, a good treatment, kindness, and some laughs, this is the place to go to!

If you're a overweight person who feels doctors don't take them seriously, this is a great place. I feel taken care of, instead of reduced to being a fat person.And apart from that, everyone is just really lovely. It's a pleasure to see the team, even if the reason might not be so good, which, I guess, is the nature of things with seeing a doctor.If that matters to anyone, if you've got issues walking (i.e. fractures, woo!): there's a lift! There are also life-sized robot sculptures in the waiting area, a playground downstairs and good parking for the car-driving sorts - where do you get that? I'd say, hey there are cycle paths all the way there, but some Grey Lynn people use them as car parks, so the road it is.

Takes four weeks to arrange a GP visit. After going there, would not even get a medical certificate for work after receiving an injury. After complaining to the owner, they called me a liar, and told me to find a different clinic. I will.

The Good Medicine Clinic
This is a really wonderful family doctor's practice, that I couldn't recommend highly enough. They are both personable and professional. I always feel that my doctor has taken the time to review my case history before I see her and is fully informed about my circumstances and history. I have never felt rushed in any way and find that the whole team really take the time and care to do a very thorough and professional job.
