Sven Handyman
Sven has completed multiple jobs in my home to very high standard. From fixing ‘unfixable’ appliances by ordering and installing broken parts - saving me a fortune - to maintenance issues with my home and surrounding property. He helped with grey water drainage issues, plumbing leaks, fixed a broken gas hob that hadn’t worked for years, cut down two trees, installed a new wood burner and whole new chimney in one day, cleared the gutters fixing a condensation problem, installed new electrical outlets, installed a pantry light and hung a very large mirror with flush mount hooks. I’ve been left disappointed and over charged in the past (even had a gass fitter charge me $200 to tell me I had lint in the flu of my infinity hot water system and stay all of 5 minutes). Sven has all the tools and skills of what otherwise takes multiple tradesmen, a totally different experience. I recommend him to all my friends and family and say there is nothing he can’t do. He even set up my mum’s WiFi, printer, tv and computer passwords in a way that’s really easy for her.

Site Safe is a not-for-profit membership organisation that promotes, inspires and supports a culture of health and safety in New Zealand construction.Our organisation engaged the services of Sven Handyman six months ago to facilitate general maintenance of our office. Jobs ranging from installing monitor brackets, rerouting network cables, installing lighting units and general maintenance. No job has been too small and is always executed to a very high standard and level of safety. Sven has a professional and approachable manner.In our busy organisation efficiency is very important and we receive consistent responses when logging jobs or requesting quotes. Sven is an absolute star. He responded to my call quickly and was able to come out the next day to fix my dishwasher and sort out my Netflix issues. Friendly and professional, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

Sven is very responsible, punctual, courteous, professional, reasonably priced, & was able to handle a wide range of tasks around our house; everything from installation to paint jobs.The job that I needed his help with was installing a dryer, laundry cabinet, bathroom cabinet and hole on the wall that needed patching and painting.He was very quick to get back to me after I emailed for an estimate and was able to set up an appointment during a time that worked for my schedule. Sven arrived on time and completed everything that I needed done, meticulously and seamlessly. For the hole on the wall, It is so perfect and seamless. I can't even find where the original hole was located. He even aligned the messy cable & electric wires in the laundry room which I didn’t ask him, but I was very grateful for. He goes beyond the job requirements and surpasses all expectations of the quality of work.I cannot recommend him enough.Sven is superb!!
