Very satisfied with the Digital Recovery Services. My business laptop (Mac Book Pro) crashed and didin't want to start anymore. I had some critical stored on SSD that was not backed up. Losing that data would have been a disaster. I spoke with some other service companies located in Auckland, however, the consultation process was not satisfying at all, and everyone was saying that the laptop will be irreperablly damaged after the recovery attempt regardless of whether or not there were able to recover the data. Having a phone chat with James from Digital Recovery gave me much more confidence that they would be able to recover my data. In addition, there was a chance that my laptop would not be damaged because of their specific diagnosis methodology. Eventually, I got all my data back, and my MacBook that is now working again!

James is brilliant at what he does. We gave him a really tricky recovery job and it threw up all sorts of issues, but he soldiered on and even gave us a reduced rate because not everything could be recovered which was not his fault, it was ours.

I used DR to look into recovering a substantial amount of work that went South on an SSD.Once they received it the guys there were quickly on the case and provided the answer I was hoping for which was that my data could be recovered. These guys are superb recovered all the information from our damaged Hardrive. We had lot our wedding photos - it is great to get them back as we only had one copy of the photos.I sent my damaged HD and they called me back with their technical assessment, the expected cost and the estimated time frame to recover the information. I would absolutely recommend these guys. I lost vital footage from my camera hard drive but Digital Recovery managed to save the lot. I dropped my iPhone and the sensor screen was only partly working and I could no longer get into my phone.  After speaking to Apple agents, I was advised I would need to have the motherboard replaced and I would lose all my data =$790.00.  However, they directed me to a pamphlet in the shop for Digital Recovery Ltd and I phoned and spoke to Darren who after listening to my tale of woe, advised that although they could look at it and try and retrieve the data it sounded as if the screen sensor was broken and all I needed to do was to replace the glass.  I went to Mobile Lab who replaced the glass for $130.00 and all is well, my phone is back.  I want to highly recommend Darren and Digital Recovery, because they could have made money from me and would have taken a number of days to look at, instead were helpful in directing me to a fix.  Thank you so much Darren, great appreciated your attitude and help.

These guys saved all our family holiday photos and videos from our once in a lifetime vacation to Disney resort in hawaii.Our external drive failed and we lost months of family pics mainly our trip to hawaii and all the magic moments of our 4 year old daughter meeting her heroes and playing in the beach.I was recommended to digital recovery from colleagues in the IT dept of weta digital and they did not disappoint, no charge of they cant recover your data is amazing.They thankfully recovered all our irreplaceable photos. We have used Digital Recovery for our forensic data recovery requirements for a number of years. Awesome service!!My hard drive had photo's of: our travels around NZ, family christmases and birthdays on as well as CV's, music and movies, etc.James was able to retrieve everything and put the data on a new hard drive.
