St. Michael's Catholic Church Remuera | St. Michael's Remuera was founded in 1933 and is one of Auckland's most beautiful Catholic churches. We have weekly mass and hold close ties to St. Michael's school which is located right behind the church.

God is in this Church. When the priest who sings Latin on the Thursday 12 noon service sings it is like manna is dropping from the heavens. The cathedral has amazing acoustics that bounce off the walls.

Lovely European catholic church on Beatrice Avenue, Remuera.Parking is somewhat limited at mass times so make sure you arrive early.Beautiful stained glass plus works of art inside.Amazing high ceiling and very impressive altar.Some pews are heated in winter (closer to the altar).Vigil Mass (as at writing this) celebrated at 5pm Saturdays. This means you can spend time with Our Lord AND STILL be able to go out in the evening.

Peaceful and quiet little community with awesome retirees and catholic families or various ethnicities. Marist spirit is embedded strongly here!!

1st time attending St.Michael and will continue to attend in the future...feld very Welcomed and church being away from the main street makes it quiet n peaceful ✌️...Love the church ...

Beautiful church but not the most welcoming. Smiles were not returned. Lots of noise from kiddos during the homily. Pew benches were heated and given its summer, it made it rather ‘toasty’. On a positive note, great choir today at the 10am service.
