Very average food. Bruschetta served on soft bread, sickly sweet pasta sauce that was supposed to be “all’arrabbiata” had no bite at all. Tried speaking to the waitresses in Italian and was met with blank looks. Not very authentic.

Great service, great food and well priced.Been there a few times now (from the South Island) and food gets better as I move through the menu.

Do not recommend at allMost disappointing food and super expensive. Ordered cannelloni and pasta and they were so bland - no seasoning no salt and all undercooked. They are selling a medium pizza as a large and charging NZ$34 that too for a Margherita!!

Was average. I wanted a real authentic Italian restaurant! I wanted people from Italy to speak Italian. Affogato on the receipt was “alfrogato” … The chef was not Italian, disappointing.

My bolognese was so saturated with a tomato/pasta sauce that after 4 or 5 mouthfuls i had to stop. I could not taste the meat, the spaghetti and the cheese as the sauce was so intense and dominated the entire meal. Very disappointing experience.

A good place for dinner if you like Italian food. As an entry we had Spaghetti marinara with sea food, then the fish of the day and tiramisu. All very tasty, not extrairdinary, though. The Service is very friendly, however, as a foreigner it was hard to understand their accent. The repeated all sentences many times with patience. All in all it can be recommended.

Been to this place a few times before and it was really nice but this latest time was a shocker. Had the veal and when it arrived you had to look very carefully to find the meat and there was a solitary potato stuck in the middle almost as an afterthought. For the price it is certainly not worth it. Cannot recommend this place anymore and we will not be back. There are far better options in the town.

Passing through town. Relaxed atmosphere, great ambience, delicious food and they had wait staff that actually smiled and did a great job. Will happily dine there again

food was delicious, drinks were a miss. Wait times are huge, seating & space is compact. However the reason for losing 2 star is the service. It seems their service and hospitality is designated to their regular and family visitors only..

I wanted to try the Italian food in the town so got recommended this lovely place. The staff member who took my order was very lovely and helpful. She helped me to choose the right dish(Vegetarian). The stater was very good. The Italian wine suggested by the team member was great in taste. However the main course was bit disappointing as it was little too salty. So couldn’t finish the meal.Recommended Place!!!
