You won't find much better on Symonds Street. Service is professional and kind, food is consistently good, coffee and drinks are served well, gourmet selection of teas available. A favourite for meetings plus has a loyalty discount. Kia ora!

I went here a couple of times with friends, and the guy waiter with glasses seemed to be the only waiter we encountered. Very rude and unpleasant. I don't know if I went to a lovely cafe or Karen's cafe to get treated so unpleasantly.

I was really impressed by the friendly, efficient service here. Great communication from staff to each other and to customers. The coffee was great and the sandwich I had was perfect.

A sunny cafe, open plan, with well-spaced tables and lots of light: a key attraction for me.There's a small glass cabinet of the usual--wraps, sandwiches, etc.--and a small menu for fresh cooked food.A small range of nice teas and at least you get a pot with leaves, rather than the usual teabag floating in warm water. Like most Auckland cafes, though, it's mainly concerned with coffee (others need to review that).Staff are OK. Polite and know their stuff but no real engagement and some have somewhat limited English which can lead to some confusion.Service is quite slow around lunchtime, which is frustrating if you have limited time.They do not accept cash, which is irritating and, for some, may mean going to the big American corporation cafe next door.Overall, it's a good meeting or light-lunch place if you're in the area, no rush to get you out and generally not to noisy. My preferred place in this part of Symonds St.

Never coming back here. It’s supposed to be a place to chill but I felt very rushed by one waiter. Poor customer service.

The place looks quite impressive from the outside. The inside experience was not worth it. The options were scarce and the ☕️ was far from ideal. The waiter could benefit from some training.

Somewhat sterile environment combined with high prices make this a cafe to be avoided in most cases. About the only going for it is that it is very convenient if you are meeting someone from AUT's Computing or Engineering schools.
