Breathtaking views. The surrounding area felt very much like a southern England countryside. The hosts Peter and Margo were the absolute best. We had the chance to have dinner the Lanarch Castle and they hosted drinks and canapés before driving us over for an AMAZING dinner at the castle. We then had an amazing home cooked breakfast by Margo next morning. Felt really spoiled and absolutely loved this place!!

Arrived early, such a welcome, amazing 5 star accomodation, wonderful walks and cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at 5pm. Margo and Peter are wonderful, down to earth hosts, who made us feel as if we were part of a group of long time friends. Breakfast is amazing, as walking the hills is a photographers delight, and having access to Larnarch Castle, plus transfers to the spectacular dinner in the castle option, topped everything.

Big and clean room. Looked perfect when we booked it. It is well located on the peninsula and the dinner at the castle is quite an experience. However, after 2 nights, we were quite disappointed by the cooked and continental breakfast (not great at all), and some basics are not there: no tissues in the room, no a/c, an ersatz of spa. Probably not worth the $500 a night.

Such an awesome stay. Friendly staff. Personal ride up to the castle for dinner. Amazing freshly cooked breakfast. Definitely worth the stay. Plus first spa bath so good.

Went to a wedding here an amazing place, location to die for even on a misty day, the staff, service and the food was outstanding, a 5 star in my books highly recommended. Some guest's stayed and said they were very impressed with the rooms and service.

Our go to place when we need to get away. This was our second visit and it is always a fantastic place to stay. The facility it top notch,with great rooms and service. With only 5 rooms, you know you are going to experience quiet and personal service. Highly recommended, and take up the opportunity to have dinner with others at the nearby castle.
