Great location and the kids loved pats with the friendly cats on site as they were missing our dogs at home.The rooms are big and clean. I wish I had used the spa in the bathroom!

Great unit! Super clean, powerful shower & really comfy bed.Close to the main street & best of all dog friendly. One of if not the best value for money motels we've stayed at.

Nicely furnished motel. Great space!It is stated 5min walk to shops but do note that there is one steep slope down to get to shops. We arrived on intercity bus so we had to get our luggage up the slope. Wasn’t prepared mentally but it was ok. At night the slope is not lifted too, so handy to turn on Hp light to see the winding uphill path better.

Very noisy road, so had difficulty sleeping. The hotel room was as expected. Clean and well maintained, albeit a little cramped. Cleaners were ready to service the room at 9:30 before we were ready. As a result, the room was not made up.

Good location not too far from town. The room was clean and tidy. The best part about the stay was the water pressure of the shower it was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.

Good location on main road into Kaikoura...well maintained, handy for my work, nice powerful shower. Good choice of rooms. Great if you prefer to seld cater as I do. Nice & peaceful.

Really nicely furnished. You know what the standard is with a Bella Vista property. The one downside with this one is the location at the top of the hill. The lorries drive all night and the noise carries. Take your ear plugs!!
