Have just been to this store. Counter 4 people without masks and no one checking. This is not the first the views are slack. Signing in is an option spoke to a staff member with out a proper mask. (Roll scaf item pulled up over face). Was told it wasn't his problem.

I very rarely write bad reviews as it takes a lot for me to put pen to paper but I feel compelled to write now.To the store employee who sighed heavily the other morning, and rolled their eyes, when I insisted on not using the self checkout, please be aware that I do not have to us the self check out. In fact the reason I don't is because I believe the process of self check out takes jobs away from New Zealanders. It is an ideological stance I've taken many years ago for the benefit of the worker. All I require you to do is help me to pay for my groceries.The second thing I feel compelled to write about is how can the store, in all good conscience, ask the public to pay $13 / kg for these vegetables. They're rotting for goodness sake.Yes, you're a monopoly in Amberley and a duopoly in New Zealand but I would suggest treating us with a little more respect and courtesy is the least you can do.

Wow the easr of parking before entering the friendly atmosphere the clean well lit spacious in-stire feel gave off a awesome vibeThe staff were smiling and appeared yo be enjoying there when I asked gor was was taken to the item I was seeking not brushed off with ..go to such n such aisle"A fantastic experience will be making this my weekly shopping store for sure"

Chicken breasts need more trimming, very messy and bloody at times. Also, please don't assume that someone is old enough for a gold card.......I'm sure when I do get one, I'll use it!! This has happened twice, by the same checkout operator.....UPDATE one week later with no response from CD, I went in today and a different checkout operator said to me you're not old enough for a gold card are you" same dam thing!!Come-on team

Marked improvement in store. Friendly helpful staff, Debbie very helpful on checkout, as lm disabled she was happy to pack groceries and place them on my walker.
