Lotus Foreign Exchange Ltd - Sylvia Park Branch

I went here to receive funds from overseas, I was asked to fill in a form and give them all my personal info including my bank card when I asked why? we were told that this is lotus policy and that other places do it too. We are not aware of this process and while discussing it he was busy on the phone talking to someone else we ended up leaving and going to Otahuhu to a small dairy and it was absolutely great no bank card or proof of address required just the code and my ID was needed. Lotus Exchange should be investigated for their dodgy processes because it’s like handing over everything about yourself to a man in a box and expecting your Identity to be safe. It can’t be trusted or better responses should be a given.

We had a positive experience using Lotus Foreign Exchange at Sylvia Park beside Burger King. The service was efficient and careful. And the man who served us was quite polite and helpful.

I visited this branch twice today based on their opening hours 9am-6pm. I arrived at 2.30pm and there was now a sign saying not back until 3.30pm. I can back at 5pm and waited in a line until 5.35pm for us all to be today she was closing for the day as it takes her so long to pack up. Please advertise your hours properly to stop wasting peoples time. I have now spent 2 hours going back and forth and lining up. Very poor service.

This place is so disappointing!Have been going there for the last 2 days and there is no staff! What a waste of time!And called head office, nobody is picking up the call either! Where is the customer service ???? Should have read reviews before wasting our time! Don’t understand why this place is still open if they can’t accommodate! Disappointing ! Doesn’t even deserve 1 star

Served by a woman with the worst attitude who then proceeded to take FORVER to process the cash exchange… a queue built up behind me. Not returning.

My German ID and driving license were rejected for an exchange of just 1000 euros! It seems that even a small amount of exchange requires full verification and a lot of paperwork!

The person who was working on 11th January was very rude, refused to exchange the money and said racist comments about me. He said rude things about my home country and nationality. I was judged just for being born in a certain country. This place is terrible.

It's my fault I was not careful enough. However, the rate was so bad I lost about $95 NZD (after exchanging my $1000 NZD to Thailand currency). I honestly this is a scam and I feel very bad after realizing I could have had more Thai money if I had exchanged it in Thailand. :( Definitely do not recommend Lotus for money exchange due to poor currency rate. Definitely won't go again in my life.

Was reluctant to go because of the bad reviews but good experience today. Had to wait awhile for lady in front of me to finish. But was in and out with 5/10mins. Hassle free. Lady was polite and nice. Will go back.
