Walked in for breakfast and a coffee. Got the French toast with a mocha. The only two faults were that the chef starts after the cafe opens, I counted 4 people turned away because the chef wasn’t doing meals and/or hadn’t prepped any food. The other was that the blackboard menu lacked information with what came with each meal. I’d recommend the chef came in an hour earlier to prep, prior to the day commencing and there to be a menu on the counter with more detail.Cheers

We understand the business of a public holiday and the stress that the staff have regarding that. However we did wait nearly 50 minutes for out food. Not once were we told about there being a wait, which would've been nicer than sitting there watching other tables meals come out before ours when we arrived before them. There was no sorry for the wait" once food arrived either. Very disappointed as we had a really great interaction at the Richmond branch yesterday."

The 2 coffees I bought weren't added on my card but the slice we shared was. Offered no remedy to this when phoned about it. At this rate I will get a free coffee next year. 100% improvement on the friendliness of staff from last time I was there

Yummmmm. I was able to get my first choice of food (the menu is in the process of changing) and it was fabulous. The flavour combinations were spectacular and the quantity was spot on.The coffee was hot and delicious, however, I ordered a take out coffee and it was served in a dine in cup.

Had strawberry shortcake pancakes, looked good on the menu, but what arrived was a soggy mess of custard, cooked strawberries, strawberry coulis and can whipped cream squirted all over the top. I should have sent it back, instead I left it for the birds. Certainly wasn't photo worthy. Wont be going back. A Shame as it is such a nice setting.Coffee was burnt also.

This place was delicious. The food was so good and the coffee was absolutely delicious. I am adding two photos. The mushroom was so incredible and it was not greasy like in some other locations I tried. One thing though, sometimes the birds fly in looking for scraps. The employees do their best to make sure that doesn't occur, but if you go here alone caution with leaving your food unattended.

Ordered poached eggs on toast.Eggs come out on top of the toast with a rock solid packet of butter next to it.I moved the eggs off the toast, this was easy because they were like rubber, then tried to get the butter out to spread in my toast…impossible.So I asked the lady that served me, why put the eggs on top of the toast when I have to take them off to butter it. She replied that some people don’t like butter. This could easily be remedied if, when taking the order, the staff asked if I would like my toast buttered (at the same time they are asking if I want bacon or mushrooms or any extras etc). I explained that this is very odd and she just said ‘well I didn’t make the meal so…’Great service peeps!!
