South Brighton Holiday Park

The park was very accomodating with our late arrival and all facilities were very clean and tidy. Short still to the beach. Playground facilities were also loved by the kids. A great place to base yourself when visiting Christchurch in a camper can or caravan.

Peaceful location. Newly tiled showers look smart. Friendly and helpful staff. Campers respectfully quiet at a reasonable hour each night. Definitely worth the regular visits here, and close to the beach and estuary walks. Dog friendly! Space for a tent and vehicle on the pitch.My only criticism - some plant growth on tent pitch felt sharp underfoot in the tent.

A great beachside caravan park in Christchurch. Amenities a little dated but spotlessly clean. Great setting amongst trees and just a little walk to the estuary walking tracks.

Didn't stay in the rooms, they look lovely from the outside. Parked here in my bus and loving the peacefulness and surrounds. Staff and management all amazing people.

We were here for four nights in February. We were camping, and using the common kitchen and shower areas. The kitchen was spacious and clean, there are outdoor dining tables, the laundry facilities were good, and the toilets & showers were clean with plenty of hot water. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and there was some free wifi available every day. This camp is located close to the estuary, with a pleasant walking loop and interesting birdlife.

Very strange place showers old dated funny people running around camp dealing drugs place floods run down some woman and young guy charging around on a motorozed cart with loud noise like grumpy stiltskins giving nasty looks like starzie police threatning kicking guests out left right and centre some creepy men there also one at entrance way has done lots of lags in jail is aggressive and another creepy dude doing gardening had axe holes in his caravan from domestic with his x partner. Oh yeah a guy there dealing drugs out of the camp to other campers and out the front gate to strangers pulling up and coming and going.. also owners having some links to gangs and using a big dog to scare and intimidating guests or long stayers witnessed one man being on drugs having episode and being trespassed and removed by police.another couple had domesticthey left in middle of night dumping suitcase of corner of street.oh theres also a guy working there that robbed a dairy with an axe for money and cigarettes would absolutely not recommend this place not safe for children very wet very damp floods and staff very very unfriendly clicky little group of people within the camp making issues with each other drinking and doing drugs a very very dangerous place ..not sure I can say there was anything good ..oh kids play ground nice my kids loved but essentially we felt very unsafe throughout our stay

This is the second time we have stayed here and have enjoyed it both times. Staff/owners are lovely and friendly, kitchen/dining area is big, roomy and clean. The only let down is the showers, as much as I enjoyed my shower, it was summer. They are dated and very airy, not what you would want in winter but they were still very clean

Get ready to have your mind blown (and your body thoroughly cleansed)!This shower is no ordinary experience. It's like being caught in a hurricane of scorching hot water—a winter wonderland miracle for your skin. I had an absolute blast!

My husband and I were at the holiday park for two nights with our campervan. The reception lady was very friendly and helped us to check-in after 18:00, she left an envelope for us with all the necessary information. The facilities were clean. The location is walking distance from the beach.
