Smart casual dining, pleasant atmosphere and seating. Enjoyed all our meals, we got 3 meaty main dishes, the lamb dish was a particularly hearty serving! Tasty entrees, especiallythe octopus. Dessert was rather simple but we were pretty full by then

Amazing views and a great ambiance. We enjoyed the edamame in soy balsamic sauce went brilliantly. The market fish crudo was ok as we found a fish scale, which is a no-no. We passed out comments to the waitress, who did apologize for this. The slow-cooked lamb shoulder fell off the bone and went excellently with the rice and stir fry bak choy with soya sauce. The dessert was the best, which was the ice cream sundae. There wasn't any maple walnut ice cream which was a disappointment. Good range of drinks enjoyed a cocktail and then a glass of wine. Overall great locations, good ambiance, and ok customer service as the staff seemed busy and seemed to forget us on a few occasions.

Absolutely beautiful food, atmosphere was very nice and felt very premium, our waiter Charlie was very helpful, polite and tentative when taking our order and making sure our water and drinks were topped up throughout the night. The view of the harbour from up high was very nice as well. 10/10 would go again! Once again a huge thanks to Charlie's service!

Heard of a new restaurant offering in the CBD so had to check it out. The menu is a classic asian fusion fare. Something Aucklanders know very well but few get it just right. Boda got it right. The lamb is a must here as well as the fried chicken and cauliflower. The service was friendly and very attentive. Great addition to the CBD restaurant scene.

The food was absolutely delicious, like exquisite. We had the Salmon, Octopus, Lamb & Eye fillet and it was all delicious, the presentation was immaculate, and it was a real experience for the taste buds. Will absolutely be returning.

Quite an average meal at Boda. The atmosphere and dining area were beautiful with great views, but the food was a bit average. We hadPrawn crackers ($5) were a tad too salty.- Tteok bokki ($12) portion was quite small but was tasty.- The suyuk pork belly ($19) was good and would have been great if served with a side of kimchi- The eggplant bibimbap ($31) on the menu said it was black rice but was regular white rice. The additional cost of $5 for pork belly only produced a few small bits of pork.- The Scotch fillet ($43) was beautifully cooked. On the menu, it seems to indicate that it came with some carrots and onion but was, in fact, some garnish and sauce.

It's was an amazing experience, I could not fault our service, food or ambience. Amazing views across the CBD. The chef is outstanding, the beef rib and raw fish were divine. Best raw fish I have tasted in New Zealand. If you want an elegant evening with friends or a romantic dinner for two it's perfect. I think the service manager is Joseph he catered to our requests and was very entertaining too. Thank you again Boda.

Had a relatively pleasant experience at the restaurant. Although the service was lacking the food truly made up to the standards.Make sure that if you’re ordering the shrimp dish that it brings exactly ONE shrimp so just watch out for that haha.Other than that, the food was amazing and loved the fusion of Korean food with Western Food. It was a party for our tastebuds. However when we ordered a drink, one of the drinks weren’t properly washed or some other issue and smelt extremely bad like a dishwasher. Fortunately, we were able to get it switched for a new one.Thank you to the waiter who offered to bring a cake for my dad and made his birthday extra special! I thought he would bring it out after we finished but he didn’t so I asked a waitress only to wait for 15 minutes with nothing. Was slightly frustrating.Overall this restaurant is worth the experience and food and will come back here for the morning atmosphere!

Delicious food and very friendly service, with a fantastic view over the harbour. We went on a Friday evening. For dinner we ordered the fish pie, shumai and beef short rib stir fry. It was all very yum and the wait wasn’t too long. The beef in particular was very tenderThe only mark on the record was the steamed rice we ordered with the stir fry, it tasted dry and undercooked. We had it sent back and they returned it saying it was fine. Luckily we got the attention of another waiter who recognised straight away that the rice was off. They sent it back and gave us a complimentary dish of chips, the chips were nice too.For dessert we ordered the hazelnut praline sundae and it was devine.Overall, we enjoyed our time and would recommend it to anyone wanting a fancy meal in the city.
