NZ House Surveys were great. They communicated well throughout, went above and beyond (really impressed with some of the things they picked up, such as how dust caused by an imminent property development down the road might affect the build-up of silt in a particular drain on the property...!), and answered further questions we had over the phone days after the inspection. Michael is also really genuine, and a good guy.

They not only gave us a reliable, comprehensive and a robust report, but also gave us independent advise that helped my wife and I make an informed decision about the purchase. We ordered a Gold pre-purchase property inspection and it was well worth the price in order to have peace of mind. Michael organised everything with the real estate agent, was upfront about when we would receive the report, and answered all my dumb questions. He did a very thorough inspection and we were left with a very detailed report which gave us the confidence to continue with the sale.

Thorough, professional and informative. I did a lot of research before approaching Micheal for a full building inspection and was not dissapointed, he certainly lives up to his reviews and word of mouth referrals. Micheal was polite and communicative, offered a selection of very reasonable quotes and made time to discuss my concerns prior to beginning the inspection. Not only did he quickly identify potential issues, but was able to point us in the next direction to address them should we choose to. Highly recommend.

NZ House surveys has saved us hundreds of dollars by their though inspection of a house we are going to purchase. They are professional and the report was extremely prompt. A water leak was caught by them and was put right by a builder. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants piece of mind when getting a building inspection.

We got a gold standard survey for the purchase of our first property, NZ House Surveys was fantastic! Absolutely everything got checked, which estimated repair/maintenance costs included and suggestions on what processes to use.The report came very promptly, including relevant council info.NZHS was also incredibly helpful in answering additional questions we had about electrics.Can't recommend highly enough, amazing service, very satisfied!
