Clean tidy basic rooms, I stayed in room no 4 Shower pressure is good! Shower head is very low for a tall person.Beds are good.Just out of town which was ideal for me, re my work.I believe when reception and kitchen is all done up its going to be a nice experience to stay there.Reception should be manned I believe to be welcomedI had to make a phone call to get a hold of the front desk.Enough parking for you car.

Quoted $117.00 arrived informed $180.00 ? Not a good start $117.00 or we are off .Unit was a shocker shower falling apart from decaying walls etc.Would not recommend to everyone.

Kelly and her awesome team go the extra mile to ensure a home away from home experience, nothing is to much trouble, in fact Kelly the owner and her team are so loving, honest and caring, it would have to be one of the best long term venues I have had the pleasure of staying at. Grounds are kept emasculate, rooms are very tidy and clean and comfortable. Venues for dinner breakfast, lunch or tea are on your door step. Thank you Kelly and team for looking after the boys so well this milk season, you and the team hold a special place to me. Old and run down. At least needs a lick of paint and new carpet. Carpet felt damp and sticky under your foot. Room was smelly. Needed airing out at least. Bathroom door didn't close. Door needs replacing or shaving at least. Soap dispenser fell apart and was empty. I rang ahead of time to say I was bringing a baby and 2 year old as well as mum and my 13year old son. He let us pay for a room and placed us knowing there was a party happening until all hours, had i have known before leaving Cambridge i would have booked somewhere else... still had loud voices at 3am and music and base at nearly 2am. Room has a kitchen with jug and stove/oven. No pots, no oven tray not even a toaster. Adds a whole new meaning to packing everything but the kitchen sink. Ok if all you want is a bed for the night And a decent shower not really ideal for young kids.

We had a last minute decision to stay in Hawera. Place was great, warm, cosy, clean and well presented. After a quick phone call to fit us in, hosts were more than accommodating for our late arrival. Highly recommend the buffet dinner, staff also accommodating to our late arrival and no haste for us to enjoy our dinner.

Wouldn't recomend staying here to anyone the room was smelly no place to prepare breakfast sheets were stiff carpet sticky big gaps around the door this was room 10 the we stayed in not a good experience

Terrible service, the manager was no where to be seen when I both checked in and out, the office actually looked abandoned and I thought I had been scammed until he eventually showed up looking very unprofessional. They had a function in that night that went very late and loud, and the manager" was very reluctant to do anything about it
