Not sure why anyone would give a bad review here? The receptionists are always lovely when I rebook and Susan who does the laser is a absolute gem. Cost effective too.

Terrible. Lazy receptionists are allergic to answering the phone or giving any sort of prompt response. I'm talking 10+ attempts to speak to a person. The doctors are fine, but if you want reasonable service for your exorbitantly priced appointment I recommend literally anywhere else.I am coming back to this review with a post level 4 experience to solidify my one star review. For what it's worth Nick Turnbull was excellent. Professional, efficient and with his help I got my skin under control. It feels like the reception staff have a general disdain for the people who are patients here.I had a message, asking if I wanted to do a phone call or zoom call for my upcoming appointment. I rang back and of course I got an answer message, then I tried again and got the machine, then again and got the machine. And eventually I left a message saying I'll let them get back in touch with me, to rebook with the hopes we are in a lower level. The appointment in question was mid september. They have not contacted me back. I guess when you charge such heinous prices you can afford to pick and choose what patients you want. Luckily for me, my skin is under control now. I will never be recommending this place, but if the topics of skin, specialists, being overcharged, bad service, unfriendly staff or general laziness and negligence ever come up, I'll be sure to mention Auckland Dermatology.

I've been a patient of this clinic for about 14 months. Each visit, I leave dissatisfied with the treatment plan and or lack of. Today, after my appointment, I left in unconsolable tears, and the tears started when I reached reception to make follow up appointment. They asked if I was ok. I said, no, I'm not ok. Would I like a seat? No, I just want to get out of here. My GP over the phone sorted all the medications I requested and needed for a severe condition. My dermatologist refused to prescribe for me, except for the usual stuff, which he knows, doesn't work for me. Go figure??

I'm not the type to write reviews but my personal experience here was absolutely horrible. The receptionist at this clinic is impolite and goes out of her way to make you feel horrible. The average cost of a 10-15 minute appointment to get a prescription is $200, I was often shamed/looked at as stupid when I tried to ask for more information or clarification. Overall the interaction as well as customer service was not worth the money. The Doctors are really the best but every experience with the staff made the visits a nightmare.

Dr Cheng is simply amazing! Susan Smith, very informed, helpful and thorough, and they have an efficient and polite staff at reception. Emma was very kind, considerate and extremely helpful when I originally called for an appointment. I would happily recommend Auckland Dermatology based on my experience to date.

I see many of the negative reviews are specifically highlighting reception as the reason. While I can't weigh in on that, I do think Dr Nick Turnbull deserves accolades. He's professional, friendly, tactful and thorough in his assessments, and he ended each session with a recap of what was checked and why.

Dr Nick Turnbull has helped me in every way he is kind caring and explains everything. Reception can be hard to be answered but this morning they answered my call . Which was marvellous and were very helpful.I recommend Dr Nick Turnbull for anyone suffering eith dkin problems

I received a response ONLY after posting this message. The response made matters worse, being told that they are busy on Mondays. Obviously did not read the message that I had made several calls (they were on different days) and have not managed to make contact. It also advised there are no appointments available till February. Well, hello reception ! You still have to respond to messages and advise people of that. Very disappointing to start with (READ BELOW) and made even worse by the comment received from reception.Not sure how Auckland Dermatology achieved even the low rating it has received.I was referred to this practice, and made several attempts to arrange an appointment. The calls were never answered, the system said they are busy with other calls. I left messages - they were not returned.in case this is not clear let me make it clear, IT HAS NOT BEEN POSSIBLE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT I WAS REFERRED FOR.

So far so good! Dr Malloy was fantastic to deal with, reception seemed to be quite professional despite all the reviews. The only thing was from talking on the phone when booking to when I had the appointment there was a price increase. So I paid more than I was expecting. Perhaps an email to all bookings would have been professional but I wasn’t too worried.I rang this morning with a query about my medication and the receptionist was very helpful and took time to think through my queries. I had called twice with no answer but third time lucky getting through so all good.

susan is amazing! highly recommend best ever!
