Irqa did a great job on my brows. The salon is huge and paid parking out front and surrounding streets with 2 hours free meters. Would recommend.

Hi! I don’t like putting bad reviews out there but I genuinely had an unpleasant experience and want to share. I had a Brazilian wax done with Selina on the 19th of April 2023. I’ve had around 6 to 7 Brazilians done at this point so I’m pretty accustomed to how they generally feel. I’m not sure if it was a case of not letting the wax sit for long enough or if the technique in which the wax was pulled off was odd but multiple times, she would put the wax in a huge section, (which was a wee bit hot but I’m stubborn and just don’t say anything, my fault, but she didn’t ask so I didn’t tell) let it sit for a short period of time, and then would attempt to rip it all off at once but fail and then have to yank yank yank the wax several times to get that one section off. I have a high pain tolerance but I was SWEATING from all the tugging going on. Usually it is one pull per section, swift, easy, boom done. Not this time. She is a lovely person but oh my goodness that was rough. I will say, that hydrojelly mask afterwards was very soothing after all that LOL. I’m not a dramatic person so I thanked her, bought some aftercare spray serum, and went on my way. Sadly, the next day, I noticed what I thought to be an ingrown hair and left it be. This “ingrown hair” over the course of a week developed into a full blown abscess that was extremely painful. I had to get antibiotics to stop the spread of the infection and get an incision to clear it all out. I’m sitting here now with an open wound and bandage over it. I may be incorrect with my thinking but as I have gotten 6-7 other Brazilians and not experienced any sort of infection afterwards, this occasion would be the outlier, especially with the extra physical trauma going on. I’m not blaming Selina for the fact bacteria was introduced, she can’t control that obviously, but I am unsure whether the technique used caused enough skin injury to allow for this to happen. Either way, I have had way less painful experiences elsewhere and will not return for any sort of waxing service. Again, Selina is a lovely person, and nothing against her, just OUCH.

Thank you Monique, for giving me back eyebrows! I had recently visited a brow kiosk in 1 of the shopping centres and did not like the brows that I left with. But you did such great work on my brows and lashes today and I really like them! You were patient with me and you took the time to explain the differences between the treatments and what steps you were going through. So thank you again, and I will definitely be back in 8 weeks!

I booked myself my first ever brow lamination appointment and I absolutely love the work that my technician has done and will absolutely be booking in again in the future. From start to finish, I had the best experience I've ever had at any such salon. Ella my brow artist did an EXCELLENT job and I especially appreciate how she did my brows to my liking, making sure I was satisfied at every stage of the process. I often feel out of place at salons and the like, but the staff here made me feel really comfortable. I'll definitely come back for services in future. Most of all I'm really happy with my Brow Lamination, done by Ella.

Such a nice atmosphere. So relaxing and they have really comfy chairs! Monique is so lovely to deal with and such an expert at her craft (I got a lash lift and tint).

I booked in for an eyebrow lamination, lash lift & tint combo with Monique. As a mature woman, this is the first time I've ever done anything to my brows and wow, what a difference it makes. She did such an amazing job making them shaped perfectly for my face and the perfect colour! They are so natural looking and I get a lot of comments. I will definitely be returning to Monique and making this a regular treat for myself. I am so impressed and I highly recommend them. The last lift and tint was also very well done and just gives my face the pop that it needed.

Amazing service, this is the best my eyebrows have ever looked, definitely will visit again next time I am in NZ.

In response to owners defensive and hostile response;This is not a cruel review it is based off of my personal experiences. And the owner fails to recognize the positive comments I have left too.I have been here a few times and each therapist has been different, the first ever visit I had was great and I enjoyed their products. I used to come here for lamination and brows but the last visit I had with Iqra for brows about 1 year ago was enough to not want to return.The brows were tinted black and so thick as soon as I went to the car I immediately had to rub the tint off the brows were not synchronized and uneven, it just felt like she was not experienced. She was lovely, just left feeling like I'd received a less than satisfactory service for a premium price, and that I never want brows or lamination again here

This is hands down the best brow business in Hamilton that I have come across, I’ve never heard a bad thing about it and had been meaning to come and give it a go for a long time! I came in today and had Sascha do my brows, she was so friendly and someone I immediately felt trusting of to do my brows! She’s so knowledgeable and I knew instantly I was going to walk out of there happy! She gave me the brows I have been trying to get for years elsewhere, I will be coming back here forever. Could not recommend Sascha more, she’s so great at what she does! The salon is so tidy and modern and the whole place has such a good energy to it!
