Excellent well designed tent sites with lots of privacy.I booked a tent site for 5 nights through some quite stormy spring weather. Debbie was considerate to offer me a cabin when the bad weather set in however the well-planned shelter belts meant I barely noticed the weather despite the fact there were strong wind warnings in place for Southland during my stay. Am surprised and impressed. Also, the facilities are great, and the place is beautifully maintained. A lovely quiet spot out in the country with friendly and considerate service. Definitely recommend.

We were so excited to stumble upon this place. We stayed in The Barn with our two families which worked perfectly with plenty of room for all. The place was immaculate. It was so lovely and even better than the photos suggest. Debbie was amazing, so accommodating and generous. We can 100% recommend!!

We had a wonderful few days here. Very relaxing. Grounds were immaculate. A real credit to owners. Accommodation had everything we needed and spotless. Would 100% recommend staying here.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful 1 week stay in The Barn" (we stayed in the larger part with 2 bedrooms). Debbie was very friendly and accommodating to any needs that arose. The accommodation felt like a real home away from home. It was very clean and kept well. Windows have double glazing so was very warm and cosy with heatpump and log fire options (it had been snowing the day before we arrived!) The living areas were spacious and light with a full size kitchen and dining area so plenty of space for a bigger group. The beds were very comfortable and we had no problems with using internet. The large lawn meant there was plenty of space for our kids to run around in. I loved the rural setting with beautiful views of green fields and stunning sunsets. I could even see the snow covered mountains in the distance. It was so quiet and peaceful

Edited below to respond to reply. We had 2 powered sites so I'm unsure of the room quality. Most reviews seem positive but we had a very different experience. One of the most expensive sites for a family of 4. $88 a night was very pricey considering there is no included WiFi and the facilities are poor. The service was unfriendly. Maybe because we arrived at 5:10pm and the reception closed at 5pm. All booking was done via Facebook and this wasn't mentioned otherwise we would have called ahead. All other receptions are open until at least 7pm so we weren't expecting it to close so early. Though there is a sign on the door saying if reception is closed, park at an empty site and send a text message, which we would have happily done. The laundry and bathroom facilities are very poor. Unclean and in need of maintenance. The water pressure and heat was good though. Nice to have some extra space in the bathroom too. Communal kitchen wasn't great. All the typed signs posted around weren't very warm or inviting. The grounds themselves are well maintained. Would have liked to see the barn and the rooms to make a fair judgement overall.Response to reply; Thank you for your reply. I'm not sure if you properly read the review. It wasn't all bad. The signs I'm referring to were typed on printer paper and laminated. The ones about providing soft toilet paper so turn off the lights and whoever is bringing dirty shoes in, stop it. They were just not very welcoming. Also, you may have us mistaken when you said you answered our call as we never called you.We would have come to speak to you if we thought it was required but your reception was closed. The idea of a review is to inform other travelers and to provide feedback to businesses where improvements are needed.

We have just had a wonderful night staying in the barn it was large and private which made it perfect for our 3 generation family group. The beds were super comfortable and everything was clean and maintained to a very high standard. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in invercargill. Thanks Debbie

Debbie was amazing, easy to talk to and tried her best to accommodate us when everything else in Invercargill and nearby areas are fully booked. The room/ cabin allotted to us is pretty new, large, clean and tidy with its own little kitchenette, we really liked it. It was in its own section in the property with 4 other units. We had to share the bathroom but this was not a big issue as it was a clean and tidy bathroom with a couple of stalls inside and was just next door to us. There was also a laundry room and a big shared full kitchen that is well appointed. We love how quiet the area is and how private our unit felt. We have enjoyed our 5-nights stay. Thanks Debbie for your hospitality.

We are so pleased we found this beautiful country park holiday park. We needed to plug in while the weather was miserable and Deb was so welcoming suggesting a large gravel site to park our Coaster on. We were very sheltered by the large hedges surrounding us with water at each site and a pretty garden and lawns immaculate around us. The showers are included in the cost and so lovely and hot with a nice sized bathroom to get changed in and scrupulously clean. Laundry machines/dryers were the same - spotless and fresh. We intended to stay 2 nites but have stayed 3 and would definitely come again and highly recommend to all. It feels like you are sharing someone’s home not a campsite - it’s got everything you need.

Immaculate...fantastic showers, the facilities were perfect for us. The grounds perfection which created the perfect relaxing environment. Only issue was we were only there for one night. Highly recommend.
