Warehouse Stationery (P&C) - Palmerston North

Since moved into the warehouse. Terrible. Managers? Supervisors, whoever they were, had a convo at the front counter without even saying hi, be there shortly. Then one took a phone call, one went to walk off, sarcastically told the girls out the back to come serve. And she she shouldn't have to ask again etc etc one of them swore in front of me. Super bizzare. Super rude. Treating the 'lesser' staff in a really demeaning way, and in front of customers? Awful.

Such a mess at the stationery counter today. Long wait, No teamwork, even unsure where was the queue......very confusing. When i was back to collect my photo print, one of female staff was very inpatient and said I need to give them the print receipt earlier, but I said its another young guy at counter at the time and he did not ask me for any receipt, so how did I know you need the print receipt ??? and she just walked off, no explaination no customer service. formal complaint lodged.

I definitely do not recommend using the passport photo service. Three times over Internal Affairs declined my photo and I had to keep coming back in store to have this redone. IA take days and days to assess your photo so this process has taken weeks of back and forth. Each time it was done by different staff members. One time I was there for an hour and a half. The one person on was so slammed that they'd rushed through my details so I never received the email because it was written down incorrectly and I had to rejoin the massive queue to get this looked into. Every time there is two lines, constantly busy no matter what time of day.Staffing always seems to be a huge problem. I'd say probably not trained enough either. One person at a time on yet there's always staff upstairs watching over almost like they're spying on the staff. I've heard staff talk to each other like they hate each other. Very toxic environment and poor quality with the passport photo service. Every customer I have heard has been complaining and takes ages to resolve.Customer service lacks. I know retail and all the staff look like they don't want to be there. You can still treat customers nicely and an apology doesn't hurt for so much inconvenience. I only came here because I live so close and needed the digital version. I didn't use any of the other printing services but each time I came back something different was always out of order. Worst kind of service in all honesty. I will stick to Snapfish for my printing needs.

Tried to use the self-printing service for some photos, which was fine and I paid via EFTPOS on the photo print machine. Then stood in a que for 20mins, only to be told it would take another 15mins as it had not been processed yet. Went to other shops, came back, qued another 10mins only to be told that the store attendant “forgot” to tell me that the service I had selected was not available. I had to then redo my order, and wait another 20mins. My first order was $8.63 second order that I had to redo $6.96, which meant that the store owed me a refund of $1.67. The attendant did not know how to do this, and I landed up just leaving it as I could not waste time in your store any longer. There was a long que in the shop, with other frustrated customers, you really need to have more staff to attend to things such as laminating, printing and taking passport photos, and separate staff manning the desk and till so that your staff are taking the brunt of customers frustration. You cannot have one person trying to attend to a printer issue, while attending to a refund while addressing other people in the que. What should have taken me 15mins was a painful ordeal that took almost 90mins.

Very disorganised in terms of supply chain and remedying it.Bought a table. When trying to assemble, i noticed the table is not the same as what is saw on the floor and the legs were inferior. I took it back and settled on swapping it for the demo model which was the only one of that kind left. While they disassemble the demo, they end up denting those legs as they dropped the table top on the legs.Based on this damage I decided not to take it anymore as the damage is too much for the price of the table. They then tell me off as if I wasted their time. What about my time wasted? What about just giving me exactly what I see on the floor? What about proper customer service?? Its the only WS in Palmy, but I’ll try my very best to never buy there again.

Ws palmy has gone completely down hill since the restructure. Staff are incompetent and unhelpful. I went in to collect photos that were 'done' 2 days prior to being told they werent done and would be 1hr, came back much later in the evening to them still not being done and no one within the WS counter was willing to resolve the issue. Pennelope i think her name was, stood in the back of the copy centre while an employee in training attempted to serve a queue of 10. I would avoid the store at all costs unless you are guaranteed to be served by the lovely young girl with tattoos, seems like shes the only person who knows what theyre doing. Getting anything done correctly here is near impossible and the customer service makes it even more unbearable.

Went in simply looking for a 100-leaf clearfile as advertised as available in the Palmerston North store. Not on the shelf, so approached the main ‘Enquires’ desk to be told “Oh only the stationery section can help with that”. One person on the desk over there and eight to 10 people in an extremely slow-moving queue. Attendant spent 10 minutes typing into the computer looking for the product, kept asking me for the barcode - for a product I couldn’t find on the shelf. I just gave up in the finish. Weird, hopeless and a waste of time.

Ordered a personised mug as a birthday gift through online portal of warehouse stationery. It was a total disappointment. I had Ordered it on 5th jan and they didnot hav any update till 30th jan. I had called them consecutively for the first 5 days as they told its was same day pickup on their website. To my suprise they didn't even hav a order under there system. At last i had to send them the confirmation mail that i got when i paid for it. Absolute disaster. At last they settled with refund on 30th jan.

Extremely poor customer service, very disorganized, rude and unprofessional staff. Literally the worst customer service I have received... very slow, a snail could move quicker. Waited for 25 minutes, still got my order wrong... could not be bothered waiting any long to have it fixed so just left as she handed my order to me with a here" and before I could say "thank you" (in an attempt to be polite)

absolutely appalling service. Went in to get a 40 page book binded and said only if you're happy to get it on Wednesday because they had 40 other books to do. A simple 5 minute job and you're turning away customers. The lady was rude and not friendly. I know you're busy but you can't even provide the services you say you can. Not impressed.
