Clean and tidy, spacious (the 2 room cottages). The pool is well maintained, deep at one end so watch the kids. There is a laundry with washer and dryer which take $2 coins.The decor and appliances are dated but in good condition.A few improvements to what is supplied, like some filtered chilled water, salt & pepper and oil, would make a world of difference.It looks like it’s for sale and I hope it gets some kaitiaki who can breathe some fresh air into it as it’s got lots of potential.

A fantastic retirement village that is a breath of fresh air compared with most modern featureless offerings. Completely redeveloped in an idyllic setting with beautiful mature trees, the villas have native timber construction, well designed features, and an older world charm.

This is a great motel. It felt like a little house with a large lounge. Fantastic for kids, great play area and good sized pool. Fish cleaning area as well as bbq for guests. Owners very nice friendly people. Loved the small exchange library in the office

Loved it here. So comfortable, cozy, peaceful and homely. Pool was great for the family! Nice place to chill out when not exploring Coromandel. 10 minute walk to town.If we ever go back to Coromandel, I'm going back here to stay :)

Clean , Tidy and spacious rooms. Beautiful place to stay with the family. The gardens are well kept and the pool is great to use in the summer.

Lovely friendly staff awesome quite location excellent clean tidy cottage.Cottage was like a tiny house with everything you need to have a beautiful relaxing time.And nothing is a problem to the host .Hope to be back next winter.A+++

Wow, what a fabulous find. We were warmly greeted by Jeanette and her husband and shown our cabin. What a lovely surprise, spacious, clean with every need thought through. Great comfortable beds, quality bedding and so very quiet. We will definitely come back again. Well done hosts.

The hotel facilities are superb. My kids love the playground ( too bad we did not managed to try the Swimming pool and bbq pit.)We only stayed for one night and we were lucky enough to experience power shortage which is not common by NZ standard. The hotel owner was very helpful with candles provided.My boy left his watch behind when we left. The lady owner post the watch back to Auckland just in time. On the day we were leaving NZ.Thank you for great hospitality and assisting in returning my boy’s watch.Always a pleasure to visit NZ and be amazed.
