Long Bay Surf Club
Great vibe, great location and eatery. Service was pretty slow at the start. Took ages for us to order as staff never came to take our order.The food was delicious. Had the snapper boat, was still a bit hungry after but enjoyed it anyway.Price wise, your pretty average Auckland prices... $34 ish for a dish that feeds you not you aren't stuffed but good quality.

A great place to celebrate a birthday. The staff were very pleasant to deal with. The food was delivered on a timely manner, and was well presented and served ready to eat as expected. Would certainly return to and recommend Long Bay Surf Club.

Staff were great & there were good daily deals on the food, which was pretty good.I have seen this place pumping in the evening, though it was quiet when we went for lunch recently.

Great venue, staff, and location. Not enough staff though to make a coffee and menu was quite limited. I assume due to long weekend perhaps?

This is a super cool place for a drink and a meal.My family and I dined here on a Sunday evening in mid March. We sat outdoors, and with a light breeze blowing and some mild heat lingering from the day's sun, it was pleasant and comfy.Service was quite fast, despite my trepidation when I arrived, after taking a look at the casually attired young staff members. Our table waiter looked like a school kid, but he turned out to be efficient and polite. The drinks took 15 minutes to arrive, but I was surprised that the food followed shortly thereafter, in fact before we had finished our drinks.I ordered the beef nachos, and what a generous serving it was, with lashings of tender, sliced beef, a bit stringy but flavoursome and accompanied by all manner of nachos-style goodies like smashed avocado, sour cream, beans and of course the main thing that gives this dish it’s real punch, the crispy fried tortilla chips.Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. We paid 140 pesos for three adult meals, one kids meal, two beers and a cold drink. Being a visitor to N.Z., that didn’t strike me as being overly pricey, especially given the high quality of the meals, nice ambience and the fast and efficient service.There are ample toilets at the back of the venue although by 7.30pm they were dirty and in need of a clean up.Parking doesn’t seem to be too much of a problem in any of the nearby side streets, although we were lucky to find a spot right outside.This is a busy joint I believe on a weekend, so it’s probably worth reserving a table, as we did. It was about ¾ full, and the atmosphere was quite lively and energetic, but also casual, laid back and relaxed. Perfect for a night out with my N.Z. fam.

Went here for an early lunch and beer. Lovely tall glass of cold Heineken. Ordered the calamari’s and the buffalo wings. Both were nice and tasty, well presented. The portion sizes were very small was the only negative. Lovely staff, friendly and helpful, nice place to sit outside on a fine day.

Came here for some Sunday brunch and the food was amazing. I got the fish and chips! Cooked to absolute perfection.Nice and relaxing environment, the staff were really friendly and helpful.Will definitely be back sometime soon to try out more of the menu

It is a great location for anyone wanting to stop off before or after hanging out at the Long Bay Regional Park.The Surf Club decor is in line with the theme, with indoor areas fitted out to host couples large groups or section off for a private gathering. Outside, there is a variety of choices for you and your crew.Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to help. Needing a recommendation, the attendants are happy to help guide you thru the menu.A curated drinks menu with the classics and some with a twist, to couple with the food menu.

Great new watering hole on the north shore. Nice open plan space with a variety of seating options. Large menu & great for kids. Love the ping pong table.
