First time diner here, very impressed, I got the ovation lamb rump, this was ample portions, just about enough for two people. Absolutely impressed I will be back

This delightful restaurant in Taupo town centre serves high quality halal beef and lamb. Food is delicious and service is excellent- the staff is knowledgeable and friendly and were able to cater to our dietary requirements. A must visit for a special meal on holiday!

Absolutely amazing as always, every time we swing through Taupo, this place is an absolute must. Literally one of the very few reasons that are good enough to make me turn off into Taupo rather than heading south. If you are looking for a nice place for a bday dinner with the family, place to take your in-laws or a romantic place to take the missus, this place is perfect

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The Food was incredible. Worth every cent. The service was on point and the atmosphere is beautiful. If you are visiting Taupo and wanting a steak meal, this is your place. Added bonus is their cocktails are Delicious too.

The food was soooo yum! I got the eye fillet steak wrapped in bacon. It was cooked perfectly. I also got the tipsy barbie cocktail and that was also delicious! Great service too!Thank you.

It seems they know about steaks & meats how to handles and how to cook.It was a delicious steak that I haven't had for a while and the matching house wine selection was extremely satisfactory.If you want to have luxurious dinner with your loved one then highly recommend to try out. Please keep ibmind that the qualities come with matching price tag.One down side which make 4 stars for the service is that they change extra fee for wireless payment which usually the case at the small shops or take away shops but not such luxury restaurants.Make sure not to use your apple pay or Paywave.

The food overall was pretty good. The steaks were cooked a little unevenly, but were overall pretty good. The sauce they came with was pretty tasty, i don’t recommend getting the $5 steak topper. If you go with a group and really want a particular steak sauce, I’d recommend buying one to share as the servings were pretty big, enough for 2-3 people easily. The broccolini tasted a bit like farts but the sauce saved it. The chicken in the caesar salad was a bit overcooked, and its a shame you have to pay extra for it. This place is pretty pricey for the amount of food you get, but overall quality was good and we did eat everything. I wouldn’t say any of the food was mind-blowing if thats what you’re looking for, but it was still pretty tasty. The service was good and our waitress was really nice.

Had a surprisingly good steak here. I am very fussy with steak and red meat as I am experienced at bbq. The sirloin I had was cooked perfectly medium rare and had good sides. The home made onion rings were delicious. Great atmosphere but a little dark. Service was a bit slow and they didnt ask us if we wanted any more drinks after the first one. All in all a good experience.
