Boulcott Lodge

My husband & I stayed here for 3 nights a couple of weeks ago.Accommodation was clean, the king size bed was comfortable & the location was so central to everything.2 weeks later we stayed for 2 more nights, we rang 2 reception to say we were running a little late & the lady was understanding & lovely.Parking is a little tight if you have a big vehicle.We would certainly stay again & highly recommend anyone to Boulcott Lodge.Grant & Jamie

Was booked in for a single night and greated by a pleasant and helpful woman at the front desk who understood our needs and provided the information we needed to make our self checkout process smoother.  Double room (number 9) was spacious, clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay.  Managed to have a bath after the long working day and the bed was very comfortable.  The location is very handy for local eateries and easy to get to the motorway.   Only difficulty was parking -  just enough room for 3 cars down beside the lodge (one parked on either side and space for 1 car to drive through.   Can become and issue if parking towards the rear of the section and find it difficult to reverse. Will need to 5-point turn to face towards the street as no place to turn at the end of the driveway.

We prefer to stay here when in Wellington. Very comfortable rooms with everything we need, great location, spotlessly clean. The staff are warm and welcoming, nothing is too much bother for them! We often arrive late in the evening, their late check in process is easy. Definitely recommend.

It was not an accessible room. My sister and brother-in-law had to move the bed over so that I could bring my wheelchair up to get into bedThey moved a chair from the end of the bed and a bedside cabinet. My sister reached down some plates and mugs for me. I couldnt shower as I couldn't reach the rails and can't get an electric chair wet. When I booked I was told I needed a carer with me which was insulting as I live alone and have stayed at hotels in Auckland City twice and had no problems. My sister had to be given a room key in case I fell (again insulting) to let the ambulance in. The spare toilet roll was in the back corner of the second shelf and the microwave was up on a 2nd shelf . There was no compendium or phone in the room my coffee wasn't replaced and I had to ask for toilet paper. THE ROOM IS DEFINITELY NOT ACCESSIBLE

Quiet, clean, comfortable and close to all services. Cosy bed. TV on wall ergonomically positioned but decoder took up space on small dining table. Accessible bathroom could do with an update.

Nice place for the night. Location and price is well especially the staff was helpful and kind.

Nice room, but TV and Wifi didn't work and lucky to get in as I arrived at 20:10.

Rooms are nice, and conditioned but staff are quite rude.Staff are very condescending towards us. Probably could spruce up their manners and customer service. After demanding we make sure to arrive early to get our key so staff could close early there was the tour of the room. Throughout the tour being told not to cook on the stove/oven or even use the toaster provided as the fire alarm would be set off and they wanted this avoided. (Should change what you say is available on your website) Fair enough but you should have said prior to me bringing food to cook because you say these amenities are available! Also requested throughout the tour for us to take all rubbish with us is ridiculous. Then saying smoking is permitted outdoors in the carpark which was fine until the next morning when the same staff member came out and said I make the rules and you cannot smoke here

I can recommend this place. Had a great stay. Slept well. A++ experience. Kind and friendly reception. I will most definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Very well equipped rooms, very clean and modern interior.Customer service was great and accommodating for late check in.Great kitchen utilities of having an stove top cooking facility.Plenty of parking on site.Was an easy 20min drive from wellington cbd.
