It's time for me to eat some humble pie. I incorrectly blamed the staff for things beyond their control. I left a negative rating because of that. Meanwhile, I continued to use their storage units for a few months. When I no longer needed the storage and emptied it out and ended the contract, I was about 1 month ahead in payment, the refund process taught me how awesome the staff are at this location and made me realise that the corporate office was the reason for my initial (legit grievance) and the frustration in processing a refund. To the staff at Storage King Hamilton Central, I'm sorry for the poor review and the lack of respect. Shane, you went above and beyond and I hope this review makes amends for the previous poor review. Regards

Requested info through their contact page + emailed them three times but no response. They were my preference as they were close by, but looks like they don't want my business so going elsewhere.

I was promised a refund of the packing boxes that I purchased on May 4th. I returned them unused as plans changed. Due to covid, international shipping rates skyrocketed and it was unaffordable to ship our belongings overseas.I was given a huge run around saying that the manager wasn’t in and that they could not refund the money to my debit/credit card as the parent company is in Australia. This still baffles me because they were able to take my payment… a refund should be simple. Then a week or so later the manager called, apologised and said I could bring in the boxes and it would take several weeks but I would get a refund to my bank account, directly. I brought the boxes in, provided my NZ bank info and said I was moving overseas the following week.It is now over 3 months since I was told I would be refunded. This is theft.

Best in class facility and completely customer focused team. Shane, Sheryl and crew couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. We have two units on site and couldn't run the business without them. Access is easy, maintenance great and site is secure. All good.
