Real Kiwi Horse Trekking
Maddie and her horses were lovely and we had an enjoyable ride through the river and to the nearby lake. Her lodgings were clean and comfortable and were equally accommodating for one or two travelers or larger groups. Very much looking forward to going back!

Real Kiwi Horse Trekking
Had a fantastic experience with Maddie and the horses! She was super friendly and accommodating and the trek was amazing. We crossed a stream, rode through a little forest and she let us try some trotting and cantering! She showed us the puppies and let us fed her lamb as well. Definitely a highlight of our trip and highly recommended. Thank you!

We had such a brilliant time with them ! My friends hadn’t ridden much before and they were very well taken care of and enjoyed themselves immensely. Our guide was lovely and the horses were calm and dependable. We really loved the trek- no better way to see the scenery !!

A lovely afternoon trekking alongside the Rangitata River, through bush, and small creeks with stunning views. Our guide was a knowledgable, passionate horse enthusiast, who ensured both horses and riders had a great time!

It was such a great experience and we even did „just“ a 2 hour trip!The horses are so friendly and also was our guide:)I bet we are going to remeber this experience for a long time and it‘s going to be one of the best ones from New Zealand ☺️

I was enjoying one hour of riding with my two 4 and 7 year old kids. Mike was very helpful and we had lots of fun. Really best riding experience I hade so far.

Went on the half day Mount Peel treck in December 2019. It was an amazing experience, the horses are great, our guide was lovely. Can totally recommend this!

Great time. Was the only one there so had a nice one on one ride for 2 hours. Great staff and horses. Will come back again
