Millennium Hotel New Plymouth Waterfront

A good place to stay en route south. Clean rooms which are spacious and cleaning staff very helpful. A big shout out to them.

The hotel is located close to the sea face of the city. The property is well managed and the rooms are neat. The hotel has limited parking.The service staff were very hospitable and the service was impeccable. Had a real good time interacting with the room service valet.Rooms size was big and it also had a small balcony. Room was nicely done and the linen and upholstery was okay.The bathroom was clean, however the vanity counter looked old and did not match the other facilities (like jacuzzi and the big shower cubicle).Interesting observations:This is the 1st hotel, where I could see the laundry from the reception (small windows), and the linen being on the floor while being washed wasn't a great sight :)The elevator takes ages to go up (just 3 floors) :)

Highly recommend A++ from the time we arrived great service with a smile our room was clean and bed so comfy sky TV to watch and breakfast was the best I had a hot chocolate sooo good and the big breaky A++. What stood out for me and my friends was the friendly and professional service from our waiter who was new but soo welcoming and made us feel at home with her amazing service to the rest of staff at the restaurant checking to see we were all happy etc. They worked well tgther great team work all round. The staff member who was cleaning the rooms A+ for service with warm welcoming presence and smile we would Def come back and wi be recommending to all our friends and family. Thank you for making our weekend the best.

Great location, comfy beds. A little too hot in the room. AC needed to keep cool. Restaurant cafe well organised. Helpful friendly staff. Carpark ā premium but off street parking available.

Awesome view.Scary time due to cyclone and being on red alert. We were told one price for 2 nights but were charged more for the second night because the rate changes due to occupancy apparently which was never disclosed.

Great location, amazing views, comfy beds, spacious rooms, clean, friendly and accommodating staff.I’ve give a 3 star as when we went to pay they were going to charge us extra to what was provided on our reservation confirmation.Praise the Lord that we had verification of original quoted amount or they would have charged us extra. Good learning experience to request confirmation of reservations moving forward.Overall it was a lovely stay.Thank you Millennium Hotel New Plymouth.

Stayed here over a week ago for the wife's surprise birthday getaway. Don't know why we have never stayed here on our many trips to New Plymouth. The staff were amazing and went out of their way for us. The room was outstanding. The restaurant is just the best in fine dining and friendly service. Will definitely be back again.
