Had my car in here three times. Every time it came back with an issue. Last time it came back leaking oil. 'Not our fault' Owen said, 'not even where we worked'. When I took it to a Wellington specialist turned out it was their fault. He provided pictures to prove it. They had used the wrong seal.

The team at Woodman automotive just ooze experience. They are diligent, honest and very very good mechanics. It is easy to have total confidence in the work they do. Highly recommended.

Terrific last minute support by Mark who replaced two engine belts on Saturday morning on my daughter's car when damage was noticed before she had to head back north on Sunday.Stopped what he was doing, arranged belts from a local distributor and fitted them. I was a very happy dad knowing my daughter's car would get her home safety, legend mate.

Had a set of new tyres installed through here a couple of months ago. There was no greeting when I walked in, there were about 4 people just sitting down staring at me which was pretty uncomfortable. One of them finally got up after me standing there for a couple of minutes and didn’t say anything, just stood there. I said I was there to collect my car and he just pointed to outside. So I grabbed my car. Found that they didn’t put valve caps on the tyres. Not essential, just bad attention to detail. I wouldn’t return because of the quality of customer service was bad and because of the attention to detail.

Despite most of the positive reviews, the people working in this business are not professional and certainly not professional in European cars. At first when I walked in, they were not interested to serve me, than once I told them I had a classic European car, they became very interested. I paid them top dollar to fix a mechanical problem only to see a week later my car had engine running issues by which I had to pay more money to another mechanic with expertise to fix the error that Woodmans made, when I told them they tried their best to avoid responsibility and told me there would be further costs. I Will not recommend these clowns to any customer who wants a professional service!
