Dead Souls Bookshop

Have always loved this bookshop and bought there a few times over the years. I work with a lot of out of town people and always recommend the shop to them. When I walked in there today with a client I had recommended the shop to. I said hello to the owner made a comment about how lovely the shop looked. When I looked up I saw a book cover on the ceiling about a show I am watching. I took a brief photo to send to a friend I’m watching the show with. I was being friendly trying to make conversation and ask if he had seen the show when he abruptly interrupted me and said “don’t take photos in my shop I’m a book store not an attraction” I thought this was so rude, unnecessary and unprofessional. As a result this is not a bookshop I will be shopping at or recommending ever again. What a great way to lose business. Guy needs to learn some basic people skills.

Best secondhand bookstore. They offer a rare but still in good quality book. Hand picked by the owner, huge range from novel, fiction, history, to philosophy.It is definitely paradise for a book worm. Let me live there! Owner is very friendly and know exactly what you ask.It might not be the cheapest secondhand book price, but it is the best service and quality worth.

Wow wow wow! What an incredible book store. Please stop and support dean, hes so knowledgeable and kind. You will not regret stopping in to check it out. I purchased 6 books just on my own. There is something for everyone

One of the best bookshops in the entire country, well worth a visit. Definitely have a chat with Dean, the owner, as he knows exactly where amongst the stacks and stacks of books to find the rare or unusual item you're on the lookout for and had great recommendations.

Absolutely adore this store. What a breath of fresh air amongst soulless incessant commercial expansion. And what wonderful way to kill an hour or two leafing through old books and new. A bottomless pit of quality … and charming, engaging service from it’s owner.

Second to none book shop I've ever been in.Wonderful owner! Into a specific writer or subject, just ask. I've asked for some obscure stuff and he's taken me right to a shelf and given a pile of recommendations.Don't pop in intending a short visit. It's like a cave of wonders but for books!!
