Bay Beauty Motel

Very comfortable room kitchen with fresh milk in fridge, bathroom and sleeping areas all tidy and clean. The manager and cleaners are very prompt for service if anything is needed. No problems at all with other guests. Own parking area right outside your room. Price is very good and affordable. Pet friendly motel which I loved. Would definately stay here again.

We have stayed at Bay Beauty Motel twice over the last few months we have enjoyed both times so affordable which helped since we had to travel from Te Aroha we found the staff very friendly, our room nice and clean and the beds comfortable, the kitchen was well equip, with a large fridge-freezer, Our enjoyment was the extra large private spa pool. Also we received a newspaper in the morning, hop skip jump to the shops for take away meals, we would stay here again.

We stayed for one night to explore the town, having a small kitchen in the room was also an attractive feature for a busy traveller. As soon as i walked in, there was a smell of old couch, the decorative pillows also looked dirty. The beds seemed ok, so had no concerns until i started cooking. A large cockroach run out from behind the microwave and i got scared as it was so close to me. I panicked, slipped on the floor, hit my shoulder on the counter and fell on the floor. We asked for the ice, the attendant was helpful and reasonably prompt. He looked at the insect as we managed to catch it, and said it was a bush cockroach and they do pest control every two months. I was glad that we stayed only one night, yet my large bruise on the shoulder from the fall would be on my holiday pictures to remind me of this place.

Not very nice, completely different to the advertising. Hardly any rooms and most of them look to be permanent WINZ housing.

Dissapointing that my daughter who is in emergency accommodation there is not aloud visitors but the young Maori woman in the next unit has a car load of noisy visitors with loud music double standards??

Very amazing staff unlike nortous on marine prade this place nothing is broken and if somthing goes worng they are only a text away.Rooms fully accessble and they very friendly caring at bay beauty winzs didnt make a mistike moving me from nortous cause i feel safe at bay beauty.Nortous is ment be a 5* i call it a 1star but i call bay beauty a 5* not a 3 star motel.They go out of their way to help you and are super friendly when i had no lights they were only a text a way and sorted it with tempery lighting till eletrction came out the next day its a safe place as nortous is not (due to the indein male owner). Bay beauty all staff are nice, caring helpful its round corner from my church down road from rose gardens round corner from the best fish and chip shop in hb (fryday) and other shopsId give bay beauty 1000 stars if i could
