Lovely bush walk, and picnic areas. Go during totara berry season! Pick 'em straight off the trees, they're absolutely amazing.

Easy trail that is so close to the residential area. The trail is all shaded that is suitable for summer walk. Part of the trail has glow worms which is a natural wonder.

A gently contoured short walk through large native trees and bush on the edge of the Botanical Gardens. Nice underfoot after a few wet weeks and a default option for me in the rain!One of those underrated walks that many seem to miss.

Amazing trail in the heart of manukau. Had an incredible time through the trails and the walkways. Well defined forest trail coupled with beautiful nature parks and picnic spot. Must visit for a day trial hike.

Puhinui Stream Forest Trail
Absolutely stunning to get back into nature. Enormous trees, clear streams and so tranquil to listen to beautiful bird life. This Forest is adjacent to the Botanical Gardens. Interlinked and Both very peaceful. Care must be taken during rainy season (Winter) as the track and steep stairs do get a bit slippery. Most enjoyable and highly recommended.
