Nice place, delicious chicken with hot peri-peri, corn is also good as a side, reasonable price for three people sharing a whole chicken with one side.

I received the worst service I have ever experienced when I visited a restaurant at 8:30pm. The person who attended to us first informed us that they would be closing at 9:00 and asked if we still wanted to order. We replied that we just wanted a wrap and would be done soon. She then told us that our order would take 20-30 minutes to prepare, and we agreed. When we started ordering food, she asked if we would be okay with taking it away, but we said we wanted to eat there. She then asked what we would like to order, and we requested a veg wrap. She responded by saying that they cook veg patties with their chicken and asked if we still wanted to order. We realized that she was not in the mood to serve us, so we canceled our order. My suggestion would be to put a closed board outside if they don't want customers to come in before 30 minutes of closing to avoid such experiences

Tasty tender chicken like always but the cleanliness of the restaurant is low and some food in its menu are not available the paella and the spicy rice as well the haloumi burguer and the grilled haloumi it’s unbelievable that the Head Quarter of this brand Nandos can not find another supplier or change the menu l have visited the branches of Sylvia Park New Lynn and stLukes and all of them presents same problems

As I’m regular customer and Uber eats driver I came in today to pick up my order around 3:10pm as I reached guy was asking me for hot bag which is good as I forget to bring but additionally he said if I won’t bring bag he will gave thumbs down feedback in my Uber eats pick up so, this kind of behaviour from staff is so unprofessional and the guy was so rude and showing attitude also. I bring the bag and got order but he shouldn’t be saying straight away that he will give me negative feedback rather than asking for bag only. And he gave the negative feedback as well. Need again training for such dumb staff….I won’t recommend anyone to visit particular this store because of the rude guy !

We waited for our orders for a long time and when the food arrived, the chicken was burnt badly to the point that it tastes bitter. The peri-peri chips must have been cooked for sometime and they reheated it. Since the peri-peri chips were cooked twice, it tastes very old and dry. Sorry i would not recommend to visit this branch.

Appalling service. Even though there is wraps on the “new menu” they don’t have wraps. It was 7pm on a Thursday night - so late night shopping in the mall. So if they had run out of wraps organise the ordering and get more in the first place or race to countdown and buy a packet. Apparently the only way I could get what I wanted was in a ciabatta bun. It was tiny and expensive. Two orders and they couldn’t get them to us at the same time. One was forgotten. Then our orders arrived ages after people who ordered after us. When we asked about the food or lack of there was no apology. Terrible customer service.

I recently visited the Nando's branch at St. Luke's around 5:45 PM and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. Upon arrival, I was informed that there would be a 40-minute wait for my order. While I understand that busy periods can lead to delays, the lack of transparency regarding the wait time was a bit disappointing.To make matters worse, when we attempted to order some sides to enjoy while waiting for our main order, we were informed that there were no options available other than chips and toasted pita. Considering it was peak dinner time, I found this to be quite unprofessional. If the restaurant was unable to provide a variety of sides, it would have been more appropriate for them to consider closing temporarily until they were able to restock their supplies.I believe it is important for restaurants, especially popular chains like Nando's, to manage their inventory and communicate any limitations to customers in a clear and timely manner. This ensures that customers have realistic expectations and are not left disappointed or feeling misled.While I appreciate the quality of the food at Nando's and have enjoyed dining at other branches in the past, my experience at the St. Luke's location was marred by the long wait time and the limited availability of sides. I hope that the management takes these concerns into consideration and works on improving their operations to provide a more seamless dining experience for their customers.

Nando is always the best. Good food, not expensive, love their sauce. But the thing is, here is always too busy.. hard to get a table.Otherwise, all good.
