Woah! I feel like it's quite hard finding a mechanic you can trust when you don't know alot about cars. I went to smart auto solutions for a much needed oil change and I will never go to another mechanic again. Sheikh explained everything to me and literally just fixed things as he went through my car. Sheikh is the absolute best mechanic I have ever used in all of my 30 years of owning vehicles. Not only was he extremely knowlegable and experienced but very quick, relliable, a clear and open communicator, a genuinely good and kind person and very honest. He went the extra mile plus some! With repairing and preparing our campervan for a complete re certification. This job invloved all sorts of fiddely components including having to take out all of the built in wooden interiors for the inspection. Sheikh was extremely helpful and kind about this and took out and replaced the inside structure of the campervan even though this was not his responsibility as a mechanic, but being a single mother with no help, he offered to do this even though I could see he was swamped with other jobs....... He has excellant insider knowlege and connections making this seemingly huge and unatainable project possible....And fast! It was all done in a matter of three days and he well exceeded my expectations on many levels. He even drove my little one and I home to Lyttelton as we did not have a way to get back. I have been so grateful for his outstanding workmanship, his kind, thorough, open and honest work ethic and really lovely nature and going those extra miles, when he is so busy and in such demand with higher paying and bigger projects. An absolute blessing to have now found our 'forever mechanic' and I can't recommend him highly enough! - I have already in the space of a week referred a few good friends to him and will be keeping this momentum flowing! A part of my engine broke and the part was super tricky to get. Sheikh was an absolute legend to find the part and fix my car. Super knowledgeable mechanic he's very dedicated and I highly recommend him to anyone with car troubles.

Hands down the best interaction I’ve had with any mechanic,ever. I called Sheikh today and he was at my house within the hour, found the issue and educated me in the process. He then sourced the parts, came back and repaired all within the same day! All for a fraction of what it would have cost me elsewhere. I feel very confident that my car was in good hands and even learned a thing or two myself. We cannot recommend this place enough!
