I accidentally filled my diesel truck with petrol I rang around to numerous mechanics for advice and pricing on how to fix the problem while others wanted me to pay with an arm and a leg simun was absolutely brilliant and gave me a fantastic deal being a single mother I am absolutely thankful as money is very tight he is a decent human being who really does care about people and does an amazing job he had my car ready within an hour he really went above and beyond which I am truly grateful for. I 1000% recommended Simun Stewart and the team at the mechanic workshop

Simun was an absolute lifesaver for us when our rental campervan broke down in Napier. He went over and above to fit us in to his very packed schedule and worked through his lunchtime to get us back out on the road as quickly as possible. We had an issue with overheating in the engine. Needed a new radiator and some other things. Simun worked 3 days in a row on our car to make sure we could continue our trip around the country. Really fair prices and incredible service! He knows what he is doing.

My starter motor broke. Ordering a new one was going to take over a week, and we had to get back to Auckland the following day. Simun had a spare starter motor in the garage (very fortunate) and he stayed late to help rebuild mine from the spare parts. He did us a huge favour to keep the trip moving forward ok very short notice. Great business, 100% recommend!

They are trustworthy and genuine guys. I recently move Napier and need to do my WOF and Service, had a flat battery too. Office mate recommend this place. So they did a great job service charge battery and even clean my battery post and spray battery sealer. Also spray Tyre shine. I drop in the morning and all done when I came back evening.I think, I have permanent place to go if I have mechanic problem. Highly recommended.

After searching on Google for a trustworthy and local garage, Simun at The Mechanic came highly recommended through online reviews.We have used him to service both of our vehicles (one is European and other is Japanese import) and replace a timing belt/water pump. The level of customer service received from Simun has been excellent. He takes the time to explain any issues, service is good value for money and comms are timely. A fantastic and well run local business!

Simply the best mechanic you are gonna find in the hawksbay. All ways the cheapest in town coz hes honest. dose not go for joy rides like other mechanics iv had that problem befor with other mechanics with my (manual cammed clubsport)
