Alfresco Motor Lodge
I booked a room at Alfresco from Oz for a short one night stay in Gisborne. It was possibly of my better decisions as this place is exceptional. Owners Mick and wife Cath make you feel instantly at home, the room itself was impeccably clean and tastefully furnished and this made our stay ultra comfortable. I really can’t recommend this place highly enough, it was great.

Very clean and tidy, well set up room. Unfortunately was incredibly disappointed with the bed, the worst I’ve slept on in a long time and for $186 for the night I felt pretty ripped off. 2.5 stars in reality…

This motel is handy to everything including the township it is also handy to the venue i was in gisborne for the cleaning ladies are lovely our room was lovely warm and clean it was a beautiful weekend
