A fun filled day on the Rangataiki River with River bugs.Beautiful scenery, lots of laughs. Don , Sabine and Oscar make you feel so welcomed and safe. I totally recommend this trip.

It was a beautiful area to see as well as heaps of fun to ride the riverbugs! As someone who has also been whitewater rafting, I would definitely recommend this a related but different experience. And the tour guides were all wonderful people that my family and I felt lucky to meet.

Had an amazing time at Riverbugs, was a great day adventure despite the weather. Don, our tour guide was great, he had alot of knowledge on the history in the area which was super interesting. I would highly recommend for any thrill seekers!

We had a great trip and I would highly recommend it. The trip was down the beautiful Rangitaiki gorge which was just plain stunning. If that was all we did that would have been worth it , but it also include a number of rapids to gave the teenagers in the group their endorphin hit. Don and Sabine were superb hosts and I am looking forward to doing it again.

My family and I did the Action Bug trip and it was fantastic!!!!This is a family owned and run business with great attention to detail. Everything was so well planned and thought out.We had a awesome time, great fun and would thoroughly recommend it to others. We would do this or one of their other trips again ourselves or with family and friends.A+++++ loved it!!!!!!!!

An awesome morning out with Don on the Wairoa River. Beautiful scenery, good fun and an experienced guide where you feel in very good hands. Would highly recommend. Will try the Rangitaiki River next time. Cheers Don

We had the best time ever. This is a MUST DO family activity for loads of fun. The bugs are safe, easy and lots of fun. Don our expert guide is informative and friendly - we had the best time. The high-light of our North Island trip and a must do activity. AAA+

Had a chance to run these down the Wairoa river, in calm water and rapids. A huge amount of fun in the fast water. If you fall out, as I did, getting back on the 'bug' is simple, so you can just carry on. In the calmer areas, you can relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery - the water, the tree edged river and the hilss and some cliffs. Thoroughly recommend.

Awesome fun, highly recommend to everyone from families to adventure enthusiasts. Special thanks to Don who was amazing and very knowledgeable in white water rafting. We were smiling the whole time and would love to do it again.

Thanks for an awesome day out! Would highly recommend for some good fun out on the Wairoa river. Special mention to our guide Don who had some great insight into the local area and excellent knowledge of white water rafting. Felt very safe and well looked after. Super fun day!
