I (based in Wellington) ordered a headboard from a company in Auckland who uses Southern furniture movers for all their deliveries. Order was collected and I was told it would arrive in approx 1 week. It’s now been 5 weeks…… I have spoken with the furniture company multiple times asking for the whereabouts of my item, to be told it’s heading to Dunedin, then told we need to “locate” it at the Wellington depot, to then being promised it would be delivered at very latest Wednesday-Friday of week 4. Still not here. Then promised Monday and to my surprise - still not delivered. I have dealt with multiple different people over the phone, some who were fine and others with terrible customer service. Not impressed in the slightest and a very unhappy customer.

Purchased a100 Year old Grandfather clock from Dunedin needed it transported safely to Hamilton (other end of country). The Team at Southern Movers were awesome to deal with, from initial contact through to delivery , we were kept informed throughout the whole process. Massive thanks to the whole team for the care they took. Professional and friendly.

Although not their core line of business, the team at Southern Furniture Movers were incredibly helpful in transporting the items I needed to a location off the beaten track. They arrived in good order and in a timely manner - very happy with the service received.

I can highly recommend Southern Furniture Movers, who did a fantastic job moving our worldly goods across town. The lads were friendly, professional, and extremely efficient - all done and dusted in less than three hours! Their price was very reasonable, and communication with management was excellent. Will definitely use them again in the future.

We've had a bit of stuff delivered by these guys. Even when working well into the evening the delivery blokes were cheerful and well mannered. Just recently I collected from their depot. Similar service. Friendly helpful efficient. That about sums it up.A good team.

Highly recommend. I have used Southern Furniture Movers on more than one occasion and each time they have been friendly, helpful and offered a great service. Excellent and quick communication and all the staff I have dealt with have been lovely from the guys on the truck through to the owners in the office.
