The Warehouse Clendon

Hi AllYesterday afternoon we made several purchases at Clendon Warehouse. Two young male employees persisted in helping us search for a large item that we needed. In addition to this we were helped to load this item into our vehicle. We wish to acknowledge the cheerful and helpful attitude of these two young male employees. This Warehouse certainly knows how to select its outstanding customer-service-focussed employees.

It is a very rare five start rating from me. For the store I would rate 4 star. But that made 5 star because of the girl who attended me. I visited on 25/10/2021 around 9.40am. The girl who was at click n collect was excellent. She went above and beyond for me. I wanted two extra items which she 200% attended me and was so kind helpful. I appreciate and hats off for her. Owner needs to treat them well and retain such employees. They help to retain customers. I would 100% visit again when we get a service like that why not..

I had the most frustrating time trying to actually reach someone via phone. I tried ringing (intermittently) for the better part of an hour, only to have an automated message waiting to disconnect my call. The Red Shed informed me that my Click & Collect order was ready, after I queried why it was still in Progress" nearly 6 business days later. I was told to contact the store after The Red Shed questioned why my order was "still marked as in transit wherein the tracking shows this arrived on 13/06" (Shayne

So tonight I went to Clendon Warehouse to purchase 2 elertic scooters at 698 dollars.Never have I had any bad dealings here till tonight.Lady stopped me at the door to ask me for proof of purchase.I was shocked as she witnessed me in line at the till.She then proceeded to tell me that if its ova a hundred dollars it needs to be signed for by her .I'm like hmmm. Since when I've been going to this warehouse since it opened.I felt she stopped me because of how I looked.She said that she stopped me to tell me to bring the trolley back in store.So why proceed to ask how much items were when the price was clear on the box. But she wanted proof and ask to view receipt OMG I was so humiliated.I took items to the car then took trolley back in store and asked another girl at the door was it store policy to bring trolleys back in store.Then I saw the first girl who stopped me at the information desk.So I approached her and asked her why she stopped me but no one else.Then I said to her that a felt she stopped for the way I looked and to see my receipt that it wasn't because of the trolley.It didn't feel right I work hard for all I have.I felt quiet hurt and wanted to return items.I was more then happy to buy else where.Just an FYI don't judge a book by its cover.

Excellent customer service and great people. We went there in a rainy day. My 8 month girl had a natural call. The shop manager lent their staff room for us to do a nappy change! Amazing people!

Great store and service love their music also however so slack with answering the phones as I have been in store and heard the phone ringing with staff just hanging around talking, customer service does not start and end in store but also begins with answering the store phones hence why there is a phone number for Clendon Warehouse but other than that truly a lovely store to visit!

Great new layout, really tidy. I enjoyed my shopping experience 29-1-17, the customer service was great and especially a lady that was working in the isles putting away tea towels. She was really helpful as I had lost something and also the other staff members, Thank you for professional and friendly customer service. Happy Customer!

Clendon Warehouse is my second go to warehouse franchise in the south auckland area. The store is large, has many products and employees and relatively safe even in the afternoon and nights. The employees are very friendly and can often point you in the right direction if you need the help. It does experience shoplifting fairly a lot more frequently than Manukau or the Airport Warehouse but have yet to see any shopper in immediate danger or harm as a result.
