It was a good stay just a little disappointed about the pillows, we end up buying our own pillows that worked out great. We had one issue with bathrooms but they where very happy to fix.

Great place, huge complex with large variety of rooms and sites, good, friendly staff. Heated pool and spas will looked after, plenty to do on site.

This place was very busy, but were able to fit us in. Packed with families but the facilities were top class and clean and tidy. There are plenty of activities close for the kids to enjoy as well as the onsite pool, sauna, tennis court. Staff were courteous and helpful.

We booked a cottage with Top Ten Hastings website a few months ago only to find out the day before check in (on our own, without being told by them) that it was offsite. This alternative site was partly under construction, with uneven ground all around, a pack of large nails was even left on the hand rails outside, currently very unsuitable for small children, our toddler fell on uneven ground and scraped the side of his face. Cigarette butts were left in an outdoor sitting area and the place stunk of fish as did the only sponge available to clean dishes, overall it didn't seem like a proper clean had been done between guests , there was no recycling facilities and the toaster also didn't work. There was a heat pump to keep the place cool and it had good bedding and was generally well set up otherwise.

We stayed several weeks here, staff very friendly and helpful. Needs alot of maintenance. We serviced ourselves. Needs modernising. Upon leaving a new owner started and alot of cleaning and maintenance had been accomplished. Would love to see the finished work.Excellent location for all and recommend staying here. Shops for basic needs within wolding distance, city centre 10 minutes drive

Big Mac comes to mind when staying here. Looks good in the photos, but room smelt, dishes not clean, bed sheets not clean and budget all the way (old, drab and dated too). Didn't feel particularly safe like other top 10 we have stayed at around the country either. Wouldn't recommend staying here.

Top 10s are always a safe bet in terms of facilities for the kids. This one has a bouncy pillow which they loved. It's close to everything and the staff are friendly. The showers and toilets could be cleaner and the hearted pool is still pretty cold for young kids.But overall we had a great holiday.

Thank you for our refund due to cyclone gabrielle. I understand your stress in the cyclone but be nicer as if you were nicer i would have booked you next year.

Service was okay, cabin obviously wasn’t cleaned before us because there was food stains on the curtains and things under the bed. Sheets were NOT clean and bed bug infested. I have multiple bed bug bites on my stomach and back. Shower was broken and not giving any hot water. facilities were dated and no space to put any of you clean dishes because there was only one strainer. Probably not going to be coming back and left a night early.
