VTNZ Lower Hutt

Bad service they need other driving instructors to be fair and atleast give you a chance but 1 mistake they fail you straight away I know I can drive and was abit nervous at the time but my nerves took the best of me and I felt abit uncomfortable with wei w because it felt like he wanted me to fail that is the first time i never stop for a pedestrian tryna keep to a 40km because was going pass a school then i was abit over the 30km temporary zone he put me down as a immediate fail he said everything else was okay but my speed was not 1 of them had to go somewhere else to pass because lowerhutt vtnz wasn't my luck just felt like they were racist between me but I have passed elsewhere handle my nerves and my instructor believed in me not the instructor here who seems up theirself don't recommend this place to get your licence they seem very rude just seem like they just want me to re book and pay another testing fee and as for that old man who works their idk if he's a security guard or what not he needs to learn how to respect people

Used to be really good, efficient and customer-focused service but since the first COVID lockdown things have changed. Now it's 'take your turn, wait in line' and queues down the road. Prepare to spend a couple of hours here, if not half a day. I've since gone back to my local mechanic.

Man glad I only had to get rucs the que of cars in the line went into the street. Lady at the front desk was verry friendly and quick to get the transaction completed.

30 minutes BEFORE opening time. Come on VTNZ the delays are unacceptable

Generally friendly customer service staff, busy little place, also, had my driving test here, Santhosh and Rahera were friendly and helpful

I was the sixth in the queue. waiting time was two hours, unbelievablely slow.

A MASSIVE shoutout to Ben! Thanks so much Ben for the time and effort you put towards my Warrant of Fitness on a Mazda BT-50 I just purchased from Lower Hutt. You still worked with me, gave me a solution, and helped me by (kind of cutting the queue) ssshhh ;) You were so cool to work with. I honestly wish VTNZ had more staff like you. Total professional, super helpful & very friendly. AAAA++++

Edited to add: I was pleased to hear from someone at this store before I had even left to address my concerns. He seemed to take them seriously and was following up with the camera footage. Hopefully her behaviour was clear from behind and she’ll be appropriately educated or moved to other duties. I’ll send in a spy to check!Wow. Exceptionally rude lady on customer service desk. Clearly not in the job because she wants it. So rude to the man two in front of me. Spoke to him incredibly patronizingly. Then the elderly lady in front of me had a voice raised at her because she filled the wrong form and the lady ripped it up aggressively. Then it was my turn and she told me to go to the back of the queue as they weren’t ready to take my car yet. I have mobility issues and it is unreasonable to expect me to queue twice Will never visit this store again. Glad I’m not local.

Friendly helpful staff,great atmosphere for my son to feel comfortable going for his license and he passed first pop.HIGHLY RECCOMEND LOWER HUTT VTNZ!!!!A++++++++++

Fantastic customer service from Rihanna!I have resubmitted this review as we had to go back to collect my imported car and had to add the below.I cannot say enough about the manager Raymond. He was beyond professional, amazingly helpful and went above and beyond getting our car road ready after compliance! I wish I could give him 10 stars! An asset to VTNZ and made the whole process as painless as possible!
